*****The 2019 Town & Country Days Medallion Hunt is on! The great medallion is worth $100 in Mapleton Bucks—good at any Maple River Chamber of Commerce business establishment—to the person who finds it first. Town & Country Days runs from June 6-9.
There are four clues in all that will lead to the medallion. The remaining clues will be posted on the T&C Days Facebook page and also in the front window of the Maple River Messenger office throughout Thursday and Friday until the medallion is found.
The medallion is hidden somewhere on city property within the city limits. Shovels or metal detectors should not be used, nor are they necessary, in order to find the medallion. When the medallion is found, the finder should bring it to the Maple River Messenger office if it is found before 2 p.m. on Thursday or Friday. If found after 2 p.m. on Friday, contact T&C Days by calling 507-380-3075 to claim your prize.
The prize will be awarded and the finders’s picture will be published in the newspaper.
