MINBIN Halloween 5K Mouse Hunt Mouse 2

Jake, Timmers, and Cluey picked this mouse up at the main Minneapolis Library.

Jake, Timmers, and Cluey picked this mouse up at the main Minneapolis Library.

NOTE: It’s sad, but many people touch and used this mouse and were not even aware that it was worth $1,000. It was an actual “unmarked” mouse at one of the computer stations in the Minneapolis Public Library. When the mouse was turned over, a note on the bottom said, “Go to Children’s Desk.” The search then needed to go to the Children’s Reference Desk and ask for the mouse, using the Magic Word (clue #3) and that word was “Minnehaha” (clue #4).

The team that found the mouse used words like “whisker” and the like, but it wasn’t until they said “Minnehaha” that the woman behind the counter congratulated them. She then went to the computer station and disconnected the mouse and gave it to them.

SPECIAL THANKS: I would like to thank Sharon and all the other special women at the Minneapolis Public Library for allowing MINBIN the opportunity to hide a mouse there. They were totally great and played along with the game. Remember, behind every great man there is a greater women. The next time you are at the Minneapolis Public Library please remember to say Thank You to these fine women. Their job is underappreciated.
