2019 North Hudson Pepper Fest Medallion Hunt

FAB Quest - Hunt for the Pepper Fest Medallion 

The Hunt begins on Saturday, August 10th, and ends at noon on Saturday, August 17th. Beginning Saturday, August 10th, we will give you the first clue.
 
There will be a total of seven clues leading you to the medallion. Please familiarize yourself with the rules of FAB Quest prior to the medallion hunt.  The daily clues and updates will be posted in our bank lobby, on our website (at the top of this page), FacebookTwitter and Instagram. The clues will be posted by noon on Saturday, August 10th, and by noon each day thereafter. 
 
If you are the first one to find the medallion, you will win a cash price of $1,000!
 
The FAB QUEST Medallion will be awarded at North Hudson Pepper Fest's Royal Coronation on Sunday, August 18th. 
 
Important Rules/Notes:
  • To see what medallions have looked like in years prior, you may stop into the Bank during our lobby hours: 
    • Monday - Friday | 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
  • The medallion is hidden on Hudson City/Village of North Hudson Public Property which is accessible to the public - it is not hidden at a residence or on private property (this includes the North Hudson Village Hall).
    • No disassembly or digging will be required to find the medallion; which includes light fixtures, park equipment, or community gardens.
    • The interior of buildings and school grounds are considered private property.
    • Please research public land prior to hunting for the medallion to respect all residences and private properties. 
  • To claim the $1,000 prize, the hunter must contact the Medallion Hunter Director:

  • First American Bank employees and North Hudson Pepper Fest Board & Committee Members and their immediate families are not eligible to participate in the FAB Quest.
  • The prize money, clue preparation and contest administration are the responsibility of First American Bank and the FAB Quest Committees.
  • Winners must be 18 years of age to claim the prize, but younger hunters may help search for the medallion if accompanied by an adult.
  • The sponsors of the FAB Quest, along with the North Hudson Pepper Fest Board & Committees, assume no responsibility for accidents or injuries sustained by participants. Participants are urged to use reasonable safety precautions, demonstrate good sportsmanship and follow all rules set by the FAB Quest Committees.  
  • A purchase will not improve your chance of winning the FAB Quest.
  • First American Bank reserves the right to discontinue the FAB Quest medallion hunt at any time.
  • The FAB Quest medallion hunt $1,000 cash prize will be awarded at: 
    • North Hudson Pepper Fest's Royal Coronation on Sunday, August 18th.
  • In the event the hidden medallion is not found, the $1,000 prize will be donated to a local charity.

In 1995, cash and candy were dropped from an airplane at the Pepper Fest parade. The parade went from Coulee Road in Hudson to North Hudson. What an amazing experience for the kids!
