2018 Roseville Rosefest Golden Rose Medallion Hunt

Calling all Roseville hunters, it’s time to get out of the house,
I am finally ready, let’s start this cunning game of cat and mouse!

Try to find me, go ahead, and bring your mother or father,
I’m not at the golf Course, the oval, or nature Center, so don’t bother...

I’m at one of our parks, sitting, waiting, patiently,
It may take multiple clues so keep looking more diligently.

With clue number one, the game has officially begun,
Don’t wait for another one, i might very well be gone!

I'm not disappointed, I knew this was going to happen;
I'm still undiscovered, but please don't get maddened!
If you need some help this might get you further,
Look west of Lexington Ave. to be a productive searcher.
Now hurry to your parks, the end is in sight,
I may be found soon, it could very well be tonight

Don't fret, the search is still on, for everyone barking up the wrong tree.
Really, i appreciate everyone searching high and low, looking for me!
Some of you are close, others... still very far.
But at least you saw a park and got up out of your car.
If I'm here much longer I might need to stop and go for a long walk.
Good thing I'm just north of everyone's favorite one-stop shop.

Calling all searchers, it feels like you stopped.
I've been getting lonely out here waiting in my resting spot.
the nighttime breeze cools me coming from the fresh lake water,
Multiple parking lots nearby, for you wannabe medallion spotters.
I can hear people fishing and even a ball game, nearby,
So hurry, my friends, I'm trying to make you abide!
So many of you have passed I wanted to screamm
You could've been lucky, and earned the prizes of your dreams.

We've reached the final day, how didn't you find me?
I am near the path hidden in a big tree.
The branches have fallen to form a perfect "V".
Probably the simplest spot in my long hiding history.
As you head back to your spot, and find yourself tired.
There's a bench for you to rest, if you very well desire.
The search has been fun, it's really been my pleasure,
But I hope we can agree that parks make life better.
