Playing under the lights, on warm summer nights
Brings love of the game for all ages.
What once was there, is certainly not bare,
Renewed and costed some wages.

The official meaning of the clue.

This clue is to trick the treasure hunter into debating whether the plot of land is McMorrow or the newer Kaposia Landing. McMorrow has soccer fields and lights on two of the fields, and all ages of kids play soccer there. McMorrow also used to have softball fields (what once was there). But to trick people into the landing, they have plenty of ball fields there where games are also played on summer nights. Each place costed some tax payer wages when remodeled/built.

Clue 3

Is it north or is it south, follow the words from my mouth,
Would I deceive you I just might.
Rocky areas are in play, so don't take too much time out of your day
Look for rubber black and white.

The official meaning of the clue.

Again making them debate between McMorrow and Kaposia Landing. The clue writer is being deceiving on which park he has hidden it in. Rocky areas refer to the medians in the parking lots at McMorrow which have rocks in the medians instead of grass. You won't have to take much time out of your day to just drive and park in the lot and get out and uncover the medallion which is sandwiched between two pieces of soccer ball rubber under the rocks.

Clue 4

Ask the captain for a view, he flew planes in 1942,
A Medal of Honor he earned when he fought!
Four hidden lanes, with A B C D names,
Will give flight to the hiding spot lot!

The official meaning of the clue.

Fleming Field is named after Captain Richard E. Fleming which sits on the south end of the park. This should tell you that McMorrow is the place to be! The hidden lanes with names refers to the street signs on the fence in the south east parking lot at McMorrow, the street names go alphabetically down the row named Aeronca Lane, Beechcraft Lane, Cessna Lane, Decathlon Lane (ABCD) which puts you in the right spot/parking "lot".
