If you seek to exercise and tax your recollection
You just might find an Andrews clue that makes an odd connection.

The official meaning of the clue.

Half of Maxine Andrews’ ashes were scattered at Surfside beach. The sisters also hung out at the beach. Many people thought the word tax had something to do with property tax, income tax, or Auditors Road as in Tax Auditor. But in this case its meaning was simply to “utilize” or “exercise”.

Well hewn trees laid flat and used as if a team
Count up to 3 or down to 7 to find the open seam

The official meaning of the clue.

In the retaining wall next to the Depot you can count 3 timbers down from the top or up 7 from the ground to where the hiding place is located in a seam between them. It was not covered up. In fact it could be seen from 20 feet away if you knew what “seam” to look at.
