2018 Stillwater Lumberjack Days Medallion Hunt

It is that time of year again,
Lumberjack Days is about to begin,
The treasure hunt is great fun,
but remember to be humble if you've won,
The medallion is on public land,
So make sure you know where you stand.

Looking east and looking west and all around,
make sure you don't hit the ground.
Then it would be time for you and your crew,
to sit back and have a nice cold brew.

Now let's talk of those men of 61,
it was so many years ago and it wasn't much fun.
The lines that were drawn during that time,
seemed harsh at the time, but it has all turned out fine.

There is just one more thing to say,
without the convention we might be cheering for Green Bay.
170 years ago the territory of Minnesota was born,
and on Main Street a plaque to those men is adorned.
On the wall where the convention was held, three cheers and hurray!
