Greetings to all, heroic Warrior clan
The hunt is on, once more
A medallion rests in our purple expanse
Fifty-cash, the dough could be yours

Maintain in mind the rules that bind
Your search to our campus land
Leave permanent structure left unharmed
Dig or climb? You’ll be left empty hand

Last year’s race nearly went the distance
The medallion nestled in vine
This year’s prize bears different disguise
In a space where the sun don’t shine

Like Superman, seek solitude
You must cut through the malarkey
Tread quietly through our medallion’s fortress
Or you may get looks most snarky

In Libris Libertas, you say?
Turn you sights to Darrell
Keep your cool in your pursuit
Shh! Be quiet, don’t turn feral

A Missouri man, boating river dam
We remember fondly of him
Reflect upon the work of ol’ Sam -
Or more so, his pseudonym
