Bill Sieberer and two friends found the Treasure Hunt medallion in St. Paul’s Cherokee Park in 1974. Almost 40 years later, he spends just as much time out searching — this time with his son, Brett.

The 2012 hunt begins Jan. 22 and runs through Feb. 2 – unless someone finds the prize before then.
