Gabe's By the Park
6:00pm gathering, 6:30pm clue release
From the white rabbit:
The deed is done.
You have maybe 20 hours to find the medallion. Should you decide to wait for the clues, you will have to dig through the snow.
The Allison Wonderland Mock Hunt is starting this Saturday! It will kick off with a party at Gabe's by the Park at 6pm. Clues will be released nightly at 6:30pm.
Some of you may recall me mentioning I had a bet with Jake during the PP hunt as he bet me the medallion was in Battle Creek. Well that $100 is going to be part of the prize this year. I'll be adding $100 of my own plus all of the registration fees. Consequently I estimate a total prize worth about $400 this year. But the catch is Jake will be out in the field hunting this year rather than behind the scenes. So if you want to win Jake's money, you will have to beat him to it!
To register, you can come to the kickoff party on Saturday and pay me there, you can send the money via Paypal to AllisonWondrland@yahoo.com, or you can email me and I will give you an address to send a check to. You actually have until the release of the 4th clue to register. Registered hunters who find the medallion are eligible to win the entire prize. An unregistered hunter who finds the medallion will still win $100 and the rest of the registration fees will go towards another future hunt.
The medallion is hidden in a park within the St. Paul city limits. It is not out on ice, on a steep hill, buried underground, up a tree, on top of a building, inside anything electrical, or hidden anywhere else that might make you wonder if looking there could be a bad idea. Clues will be released daily at 6:30pm. The hunt will go on until someone finds it.

Lake Johanna - Lakeside Pavilion
11:30 am
Its hard to believe this is the 15th year of doing this. So, after several eyars of being inside due to the cold (and being unable to get the pavilion at Newell like we wanted due to time), we're returnign to our roots and having a February picnic outdoors due to the weather! We're taking over the lakeside pavilion at Tony Schmidt park.
The lakeside pavilion will make it easier for those bringing grills, stoves and generators. There is no electricity onsite. We have been asked to carry out any trash if there are no trash cans available.
