My two cents... When I first saw the clue line: TALL AND DELICATE, WILL A BROKE DELEGATE - my thoughts were first tall and delicate + willowy, "will a" -

I sorta doubt they're going to take an obvious political jab at the sitting governor--certainly not to make fun of him fainting (I assume you're talking about

There were some late teen girls at Lower Landing [as I was scouting] on Saturday attempting to scale down the rocks to the Mississippi water ... I did butt in

I think the second stanza is a poke at Dayton and his surplus. He fainted this weekend in Woodbury. They seem to add a jab here or there during the hunts. Sent

I think there's a small swinging gate on the corner of 4th and Sibley. I did some street view, and I think its accessible. Maybe worth a quick look at least

Here's the thing. A good number of these clues suggest young kids to me. "Nap" has been used twice. Pollywogs. "Young" Huck Finn. A stretch perhaps, but public

Okay, so are you discounting the reference to Sibley altogether? I also don't see any obvious street references to Mounds. I like Wacouta Commons too (Bri the

Couldn't the pollywogs mean the obvious- fish hatchery? Man, I hate not being dead set on a park by clue 9. I have 3 parks in my head and they all could work!

The Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt is part of the St. Paul Winter Carnival every year. While the prize can only go to one winner, The Allison Wonderland is dedicated to the community spirit of treasure hunting. Here, not only will you find out about the Pre-Dig Gig, the Rehash Bash, and various other social events, but we also discuss the clues here in a team effort to decipher them (albeit not always successfully). This is a place to discuss ideas respectfully, report on what's happening "on the ground", and provide each other with useful information. This is a public group so expect that anything posted will be seen by everyone.
