The arch thing has me wondering as well, but someone did mention that it could be overarching trees. Or it could be the arch of a street or highway passing

David So I have been largely quiet on the idea front this year thus far because I feel as though I haven't been able to put adequate time into my theories to

I think they have told us where. In fact, it's Clue 5 and I'm about to head out there to dig if that tells you anything.

Reminds me of Tony Schmidt--depending on which map you consulted, there were like 3 different possible park boundaries. Snail Lake is similar. There's the park

Two quick thoughts - Snail Lake park is technically in the city of Shoreview, not Arden Hills. Shoreview could certainly represent a watery sight. The park

You know, this does sound exactly like a reference to the events of the Phalen 2004 hunt, doesn't it? And "fouled up plans" could be failin'. On Monday,

I'm wondering if the clue writer is referring to the last time the treasure was hidden in Phalen in 2004 when they put the puck in a real doughnut with green

The Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt is part of the St. Paul Winter Carnival every year. While the prize can only go to one winner, The Allison Wonderland is dedicated to the community spirit of treasure hunting. Here, not only will you find out about the Pre-Dig Gig, the Rehash Bash, and various other social events, but we also discuss the clues here in a team effort to decipher them (albeit not always successfully). This is a place to discuss ideas respectfully, report on what's happening "on the ground", and provide each other with useful information. This is a public group so expect that anything posted will be seen by everyone.
