I know they are off-limits, but the general area the CW is alluding to, plus the ice climbing accessed there. It is also a place of "nature."

Even if it didn't, the fossil beds have been off-limits when it was there. But this cluewriter likes to put us in the area, so who knows.

Clue 4 seems to me to be more problematic than the others when it comes to picking the park. So either there's one park that fits all of them, or something

It could be. Thinking back to last year, it could very well just be telling us to look near downtown. We had a few clues last year that just told us the park

I would have to agree that it is unlikely at Crosby for various reasons. First and foremost I feel as though the clue writer is relatively clever and

But what about Clue 4?  Are you just chalking it up to being the what it's hidden in clue?  It would fit with the red herring theme of the hunt, but it seems

Also, Crosby has a part of the trail where there's a tree with lines on it to mark the heights of historic flooding events, and a sign explaining the park's

Hidden Falls I think might do the trick. Hidden Falls and Crosby are quite nearly the same park, so Clue 2 would draw us to that area, but then we have to pick

I know last night's clue has a lot of people back at Crosby.  I'm not there myself.  That's primarily because of Clue 4 which I believe refers to the Crashed

The Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt is part of the St. Paul Winter Carnival every year. While the prize can only go to one winner, The Allison Wonderland is dedicated to the community spirit of treasure hunting. Here, not only will you find out about the Pre-Dig Gig, the Rehash Bash, and various other social events, but we also discuss the clues here in a team effort to decipher them (albeit not always successfully). This is a place to discuss ideas respectfully, report on what's happening "on the ground", and provide each other with useful information.
