Put me down for Phalen Park (regional) for this one Allison. All 10. My first pick was Swede Hollow before the clues came out and before there were 2 homicides discovered west of the park. Cancel that pick. Too dangerous!

I think you may very well be right in saying that this clue is telling us that it's in a very obscure spot, but the first person to that spot will be the finder. That would certainly be the way to set up a hunt during a pandemic.

This next clue is vague yet specific I think. Its telling us the basics of staying out of off limit places, such as the links, golf courses, could also mean stay away from parks with courses, and now that Frisbee golf is getting popular that may also come into play. The specific thing about this clue has me thinking that this year is going to be different, no digging around in the snow, no tree limb kind thing either, so my thought was its going to be right along an easy path and will be found easily...if you can get the area correct, and the writer is telling us this by saying you ain't got a shot if you are waiting around for the last clue this year. So usually you get the park, maybe...but then its a full on dig fest, not this year, just walk over maybe look under a bench and grab it kinda thing, which are always the first things searched in an area...this year is first come first serve maybe...

To clarify something, I'm not saying the meter is strict this year. Just this clue. It was not true of Clue 1, but feels a bit forced on Clue 2, as if it were important that it be something specific.

The word choices definitely had me looking at meter - which David points out is very strict this year.

Speaking of the HF ‘07 hunt- perhaps “Join Us” is suggesting another “level land” —> cLEVELAND kind of hint.

The medallion will not be hidden on the State Capitol grounds, at Como Zoo & Conservatory, Rice Park, Mounds Park, under any skating surface, on a golf course, under or on any artificial turf surface, or at any construction site.

I believe IMP is off limits per the rules, but perhaps a cemetery is nearby.

I'm afraid I don't know exactly. I would think you should have it by now. I don't know if they use a tracking number or not. I would say the best thing is to contact the Pioneer Press though I don't see any specific contact information on the site where you get the medallions.

Noted. What do I do if I never received the light up medallion I ordered. Ordered it on the 12th. Got the email conformation and all but the thing never was mailed to me? 

I do think IMP is a little crazy because I'm pretty sure it was marked as forbidden territory in the rules this year.

Is it crazy to think of IMP as an option? We’ve been told 6 feet here, 6 feet there, all year. Well when you are buried you go 6 feet under so they say. And for the second part of this clue I think the CW is saying it’s already being given to you. Just a thought. I know it’s a separate thread and will probably get lost but I’ll throw 10 on Indian mounds. 

I'm feeling Hidden Falls on this one. The syllables on this one are an unusually strict pattern 10-7-10-7. That could also be taken to mean 07, 07 if you just take the last digit of each. That was the year it was at Hidden Falls and Jake found it on Clue 3, which might be what "Don't wait for the last clue" is referencing. If so, the "ball" from Clue 1 could be the balls on the power lines there.

So I'll move 10 to Hidden Falls.
