I ordered my patch the week before Christmas and have not received it.  Now I'm frantically searching for proof of purchase just in case...

Or, simply referring to the high school of the same name.

"Cap and gown" in Clue 2 could be referring to the picnic shelters in Como where a lot of graduation parties are held.  Or perhaps to the spot on the pavilion side east of Lexington Ave where a lot of posed photos are taken.  Many of those are wedding party photos, but I've seen grad photos taken there also.
I imagine that many parks are popular for grad parties, so singling out Como based on that may be a reach.
"Tackle" in Clue 1 could be a reference to the soccer field at the south end of the park.

That would be interesting.  A good share of the space down there is a designated off leash dog park, I visit it often.  A great choice if you have a dog that likes to swim, not so great if not—very limited actual walking area.  There is a spot where the off leash section begins, but it is ignored by many—be ready to encounter many off leash dogs wherever you go down there.  And dogs are like kids—some are great, some are not.

So, I'm a bit bias and hope the puck is in St. Paul. I decided to go with battle and brain to start my search because why not. I'm wondering with the reference to the pandemic and brain if perhaps the puck is in the vicinity of a medical facility that specializes in brain study. For battle I thought I look into something more like a military reference such as the 94 Freeway which is known as Purple heart trail. So, for now I'm thinking Meeker Island Lock & Dam Historic Park because a Masonic Institute for the Developing the Brain is nearby as is the 94.  Like others have mentioned the use of tackle and muse point to a lot of possibilities. Keep on noodling. Also did anyone watch the deed is done video? My partner thinks they heard water in the background.

Life of ease reminds me of the "triple e" gate at Como. That's right by Como Town which has a ride called the Tornado and other rides where your knees might buckle. It's also by the West Picnic Grounds off of (battle of) Midway and it's an aMUSEment park.

Just a thought.

PP Medallion Hunt - Clue #3

3 years 2 months ago
Here is the new clue

Clue #3
A bomb cyclone hit our wintry zone On the chin, buckling our knees Get up at your leisure to seek our fine treasure
Find fortune and live life of ease
And the previous clues:

Clue #2
Descend from your perch, set out to search
East Side, west side, all around the town
Glory will reign when you find the chain
To go with your cap and gown

Clue #1
The viral pandemic is now endemic And the battle’s on for Ukraine Take a break from the news to follow your muse
And tackle these rhymes with your brain

Regarding the NY possible reference, isn't there a New York Life Eagle at summit overlook park--descend from your perch. Also probably not related but going back to clue one tackle and the chain mentioned in this clue, a funny thing happened in one of the playoff games in which the football chain broke during the NY Giants and Phil Eagles game.

Didn't someone mention a Hamilton reference from clue 1 as well, which is created by Lin-Manuel Miranda also from the NY? Perhaps we're looking for a park near a theatre or contains a stage? I'm sure clue 3 will make a mockery of all my thoughts. The game is afoot.

Anyone else pay for the patch and not get it?

I think if we have the receipt we are covered for the full cash prize.

Not sure.

We were notified they had our payment and patches shipped, but never received

I was thinking it would be a good year to come back to the city too, in a small park, especially with the ice…..

One for the writers of Sidewalks of NY was James Blake.  Blake Ave bisects Langford Park so Blake is one the East and West sides of the park.  Also, Langford Park road is on both the East and West sides of the park.  Too early to really narrow to a park, but thought it was interesting.

You are definitely on to something.

I took a listen to a version on YouTube and in my searches it became apparent it’s a fairly frequent carousel song. I haven’t taken The kids to Cafesjian’s in a while but I could imagine the song being played there…
