If river is referenced twice with driver and striver, that might point to Crosby where the Minnesota and Mississippi rivers meet.

Sorry to be so out of touch this year. I took two weeks off at Christmas to work on the Winter Carnival Scavenger Hunts and then ended up being sick the whole time. So I've been playing catch up this month and haven't had much time to think about the Medallion Hunt. Consequently I don't think I'm going to have time to run my park pool this year.
As for this year, my thoughts are that there's a good chance that the reference to it being a marathon from last year to this one suggests it is in a park far from White Bear. I like the idea that driver and striver are really just clues pointing to "river". Hidden Falls had improvements made during the 30's. It's also the park where Jake found it after just three clues which could be what they are referencing when they say get out of bed and get out there. There is also some fresh development up by the old Ford plant. It's unclear if the new parks they made there are open yet. I wouldn't rule out Lilydale either as that park has been totally redone and is on the river. Crosby is a possibility too if "ease" means "E's" and is a reference to the gate at Como that is dedicated to someone with initials of "E.E.E." That gate was moved from Crosby to Como in the 30's. Could also be Como. Of course these are all pretty large parks so I think it's pretty unlikely it will be found tonight. lol

I am thinking this clue is a reference to last year's hunt and the reference to F. Scott Fitzgerald's "Winter Dreams." And "the 30s" is not talking about the weather. Maybe it's a reference to the 1930 and a historical golf club / course from the time period (i.e. Keller Golf Course).

wow, I didn't see that one! But does it lead us anywhere? I get what you are saying.

“Goriest Survivor” is one- though unfortunately “Bush” Ave doesn’t have many ties to any major parks… though that might be “Gore-iest” anyways.
and I doubt they’d give that away in clue two.
A boy can dream tho.

There does not seem to be a perfect anagram that I could find. There is this..vigorous striver - grooviest virus r - its not even a funny option. Nothing groovy about the virus. I was sooo sick when I got it. Lost 15 lbs in 8 days, aches and pains terrible, head all grogged, lucid weird dreams, had no lung issue though and did not lose taste or smell. So close to going into hospital. Tested positive day 8, first 4 days was normal cold, then got worse and worse til I could not handle it anymore. Took Ivermectin. Doctors would give or offer nothing. 8 hours later something changed, slept great, woke up the best in 7 days, Still 104 fever though. Day 2 - 2nd dose, all aches and pains gone! fever down to 101, day 3 - 3rd dose, 98,8 appetite back, felt completely normal! Thank God! It took 1 month to get strength back to 100%. It was in June - most likely Delta.
I was thinking bed - creek bed, river bed?30s - was there a park created in the 30's?

Mike

P.S. Warning - Do not take the Mark!
(Rev 13:16)  And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:(Rev 13:17)  And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.(Rev 13:18)  Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
This could happen very soon! And once it happens it will be too late!So what's next?I'd repent and get right with Jesus, asap!. He died on the cross for you because He loves you. Your sins can now be washed clean but you have to make the next move and seek God. God will not go against your free will. He wants to Love you, but you have to let Him in. Let Him know today! No one is promised tomorrow...

David I thought fresh meant something or someplace new also. Are any of the parks redone as in refreshed recently?
