The Strawberry Fest medallion was found Tuesday morning, ending the seven-day hunt in Cottage Grove.

The medallion was found by Connor Mitchell-Murray, 11, and his parents, Mike and Colleen Murray. They found it hidden under the backstop at the baseball field at Oakwood Park. The medallion, stored in a plastic baggie and wrapped in tape, was beneath a pile of leaves. They did not have a Strawberry Fest button.

The Strawberry Fest Medallion Hunt is co-sponsored by the Bulletin and Edina Realty.

Check back for more on their medallion hunting story.

Here were the five posted clues:

Clue 1

It's Strawberry Fest once again

This celebration's a perfect 10

There's a medallion hidden out there

on Cottage Grove property, that's where

Clue 2

Back on the trail and ready for more?

This hunt's neither task nor chore

So settle in and give it a try

Your prize is dry but not high

Clue 3

Pursuit of the treasure picks up on Day 3

Don't waste your time checking water or tree

If you're still stumped on which way to head

Off toward the west is where you should tread

Clue 4

As the city festival passes its peak

We assure you these hints are not tongue in cheek

If you hit it rich, they say don't yell 'Hark!'

Be glad for your luck and bow from the park

Clue 5

It's Day 5 of the medallion search

You need not scour from a perch

Recruit a team, but tools you ought not wield

For this prize, head for a field
