2019 Onamia Days Medallion Hunt

It’s finally summer, are we ready for some FUN?
Another “Onamia Days” and lots of fun-in-the sun.

Remember as you hunt… this year’s theme is … “Cruisin’ the Byway”.
Within city limits, on public property, but NOT on the Highway.

Well, it’s FINALLY FRIDAY and another week ends,
Time to start the FUN with your family and friends.

Come for some food, have something for lunch,
A burger or brat? ... you will find something to munch.

Be sure to have a Button, to double the money;
Finding the medallion without a button wouldn’t be funny.
Here’s a clue to where it’s NOT… at City Hall … under the flower pots.
(Please do not disturb the flowers!)

Saturday morning is all about FUN, Start the day with the 5K Run?
Kids Events at City Hall, with the Kiddie parade at ten;
And turtle races, face painting and other games again.
Soo…Byway or Highway, neither one is right.
What you are looking for is not in plain sight.

Rides for the kiddies, more food is around.
Play horseshoes in the Park, starting at noon.
Want another clue? The medallion not found?
Look to the west, it will be found soon.

Guided tour of the Scenic Byway, meet on Wall Street at five.
Be back by eight, to see the ‘Chad Edwards Band’, live.
The Railroad was once here, but not anymore.
Now used for tubing and fishing from the shore.

Time is a ticking and the medallion is still hidden?
Well I wish I could just tell ya’, but of course that’s forbidden.
Follow the trail to the end of the line,
Stop when you get to the DNR sign.
Step up close, but also beware;
If someone else didn’t beat you, it will be there!
