It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.
Denephew...Newell makes sense, except for one thing....they have "never" given away the name of the park so early in the game. And with the $10,000, I can't
believe they would pick this year to do that; and that is a fairly small park.
speaking of the saints you can see midway stadium from devils den and clue 4 says " but there's VALUE as WELL as IN the NEW" that explains itself and if you
spell the letters out of the clues it spells SAINTS FA Im guessing we will see an N in todays clue.

yes but iconoclast can also mean something different like a rebel. It could possibly mean they could do things different as give the name of the park, but if they do
then they will just tell you things around the park that you can see from the spot of the medallion.
"studying the past can be quite a blast" The torpedo in como hence "blast" and the torpedo has many names on it which a few were famous for a period of time. im
not saying the medallion is by the torpedo but it does have something to do with it
clue 5 hamlin high school and some kind of law school is less than a block from it and clue 5 also jsut mainly tells you its in a small chest. very small
Jerod-look at the second sentance in clue #4, ..."But theres value as well in the new..." Keywords>> well+new=newell! I also have plenty more reasons, you just
AllieGo - I agree with you that they never seem to give the name of the park right away. But- in years past I have seen them point to one park early, switch to
another park, just to turn around and switch back to the original. I usually go with the clues as they come. I would never stay in NP if the clues pointed elsewhere :)
The Rock- is Devils Den Newell Park, becuace the Saints stadium can Also be seen from Newell.I am positive it is at Newell,And I'm sure plenty of others agree
explain your reasoning D Chanhassen... i've looked at the parks on here and they dont work... but i heard the Hunters guide has kick ass maps... whatchya seein???
From Woodbury take 94 to the Snelling Ave. exit and go North to University ave. At University go left (west) to Fairview (Arby's restaurant is on the south corner)
and take a right. When you get to Pierce Butler, you'll know it because you can't go any farther. Besides the park runs along Fairview for about 3-4 blocks Can't

ok, HELLO- hERE ARE MY OFFERINGS IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED.Clue 4 says a blast from the past- go back to clues of 95 from BC-value as well in
the new. I believe that to mean there are new clues hidden in the old clues from 95 (look also at the familiar numbers). Check out old clue #7 and compare to new
Here's a stretch...wouldn't an iconoclast maybe be thrown behind bars?? Are there any parks right behind a string of bars? After all, it does say "if YOU are willing

WHO IS GOING OUT TO NEWELL TONIGHT ?
where exactly is Newell??
Clue 4 talks about studying the past and the new, and clue 5 talks about learning. What at Newell fits that description?

clue 5 hamlin high school and some kind of law school is less than a block from it and clue 5 also jsut mainly tells you its in a small chest. very small
if you take the first letter of all of the clues it is T,F,N,S,I,A it would only be Saint F
....Here comes wishbone...and theyre off!!!
Other than the "new" in clue 4, why is everyone thinking Newell?
Have any of you been to Newell to see how much it has been ripped up already??
Iconoclast means a person that destroys religious things. Can anybody tell me where Newell is????
Jerod-look at the second sentance in clue #4, ..."But theres value as well in the new..." Keywords>> well+new=newell! I also have plenty more reasons, you just
should've been here last night!

Newell is looking very good right now.
Angel 02 - Newell Park is on Pierce Butler Route and Fairview. Where are you coming from?
Please tell me where Newell is!!!!
If any one has the "Medallion hunt map book" you will clearly see its either Swede Hollow or Merriam Park.
Woodbury
I say this for a number of reasons. Longfellow Magnet School (Who was Longfellow but a famous writer i.e. tomes)
Both have Steep Hills in them but a lot of area without
One is near but NOT a golf course
Both have a lot of History associated with them
Both are near I-94 one also near Hwy 5
Just a few of the clues. . .
that's a new outlook

why swede hollow?
Well Barton - I loved the Movie - I don't have the map book it belongs to a friend. I have been researching this since Monday - these two parks meet ALL the
Criteria stated so far.
has it ever been at NEWELL before?
Dave-It's not at Merriam, cause I live right by it.It's at Newell.
I don't remember Dingo
so far 20 parks meet the criteria...
why swede hollow?
it was at newell maybe 7-8 yrs. ago maybe longer. It's been awhile. Like I said I've been doing this for 20 yrs.-all the years start to run together.
Thank you ssssssooooooooo much!!!!
Are you thinking that although it was hidden at least a month ago. since you live near there you would have seen someone hide it??
It's not Saint then; it's Satan. (?)
er yes devils den is at newell and its only been there once and that was in 84 i think gonna have to check on that

NP fans,do you think the KS 95 radio tower could match clue #3 (94.5 that is!)
my dad thinks it is at Rice Park (what an idiot) but i wanna go to Newell, cause i know it is there
yes 94.5 is it i said that like yesterday but if its satan then devils den would be perfect but saints fan is coming to me much better
Anybody going to NP tonight?
Hey Angel, I'm in Woodbury too
You can not see any numbers from the KS95 tower!!
Here's a stretch...wouldn't an iconoclast maybe be thrown behind bars?? Are there any parks right behind a string of bars? After all, it does say "if YOU are willing
to be"....
Saints fan is only 9 letters . What about the other 3?
Hey dingo man!! Am cracking up right now...LOL!!!! I'll say a prayer for your dad!!!!
