Especially if I'm standing between the fire ring and the picnic shelter looking towards the Southeast. The monument would be directly in my view, and there are loads of grills and picnic tables directly in that area. The map is showing 5 grills and 8 picnic tables there alone. Of course, I'm still grabbing at air, and don't plan to go digging until tomorrow night depending on tonight's clue
Attention past finders of the treasure!!!! I would like a group photo for the Treasure Hunter's Guide "Hall of Fame". Please send me an e-mail to see if we can get together at the park. Give me your hunting schedule for Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Troy/Kitty/Queen: Fire and Ice are somewhat opposites. There's the "fire ring near a picnic shelter donated by the East Side Lions Club in 1964" Quote from "Saint Paul Parks A Treasure Hunter's Guide, Second Edition"
Steve - Maureen and her brother Steve found it at Cherokee. I think she posted a message on here early on...but after the prehunt bash. Maybe if you did a search for Maureen, you'd find her e-mail. Steve never posts here.
Did everyone else get spammed by TheTreasureHunter'sGuide like I did? The thing that really sucks is I would have bought his book. But I NEVER do business with spammers.
The Map Store, Kellogg Square, 111 East Kellogg, St. Paul, MN 55101 corner of Robert and Kellogg--on Kellogg side---Ruminator, Grand Ave (Formerly Hungry Mind)--disclaimer- I do not work for Hunter's Guide, but it is a nice tool.

Ares what does a fire ring have to do with ice. That doesn't seem to make any sense

Yeah I thinking of that to, but not so sure, I still like the whole opposite of cloudy and foul thing
Why dig at the Capital mall, it isn't a park and the clues don't fit there
DIGGIN' QUEEN, i told you i would call you with the clue at midnight.
not at barnes & nobel. was there tonight, and they never heard of it.
The second edition is available at what was the Hungry Mind Bookstore on Grand Ave...or the map store on Kellogg.
It's worth it. Very good work done.

They won't hide it downtown. there is not enough parking plus there are to many other Carnival activities going on.

Well, to let you know, i am only 17. If that makes a difference. PLus i don't get off work till 11:30
I thinks the medallion is not there, but I know the statue is real.
