Sorry, had to stick around and see if I won a trip to Vegas

Chilled to the marrow only

a yarrow

Could love the place you

found

Lonely and forsaked, the

puck rests naked

On the snow-and

ice-covered ground

First you shovel then you rake

Bet that sucker hit the ground and was under some simple leaves and light snow before the big fall last week.

My 9 year old took a picture of that sign tonight - and I laughed b/c she is always taking pictures of every plaque, statue and sign that she can find and usually they mean nothing at all!

What's with the "ice covered ground"?  I don't get it.  Snow I get, ice I don't.

Santa Dave

I think Peter Yarrow was a singer with the group Peter,
Paul, and Mary. (I delivered pizza to them in their hotel
room at the Marquette Inn back in the 70's.)

There are about 4 of those signs in the park.

Yarrow grows where it's sunny - that eliminates the woods.

Sitting naked in the snow and ice.

It started over at the PP Board, BergBoy.  Somebody trying to lead people to Shamrock.  Claimed there were thousands of people there, news helicopter overhead, National Guard brought in.  Started yesterday sometime.

just a thought, lonely and forsaked ( forsaken ), or abandoned, could this mean Hidden Falls part ? Every 1 at Crosby and forsaken H. F. ?

Fri, 01/28/2005 - 11:13 PM Permalink

The question is.... do we start looking to see what parks have Yarrow growing in them other then Crosby?

I have this vision of all these people in the woods doing an about face and marching en masse to the prairie.
