Dang, what kinda camera was that taken with Nick? I've never had a digital camera able to take decent pictures of the moon.

but you should see how many pictures DONT turn out good, in order to get that one that did... :eyeroll:

I get blurry, or not enough light, or whatever... and stand there reviewing pics, and deleting and doing over...

I was actually in the process of PMing you yesterday before I had to rush off because I was late. My fricken computer froze up and I didn't have your #. Man that pissed me off. I really felt how much control these things have over us when I'm yelling and screaming at a machine because it put my life on hold. I know you would have appreciated it especially because you were stuck at work all day.

Speaking of, were things easier today because you went in yesterday?

Yeah, actually today went very smoothly because of the work I put in yesterday, so it was a good use of time, just a sucky day to waste.

Thanks for the thought though, I know all about wanting to toss my computer out the window at times (it's just that it wouldn't have as far to fall here).

I was at Raceway Park they do a nice show on the 4th, my girlfriends husband races there..

Here's photos I took of the amateur fireworks display my neighbors put on.

While it wasn't as great as the big city displays, it lasted longer, and there was no trouble with parking, traffic and crowds.

I think there's something to be said about celebrating Independence day by not depending on your city/government/organizations to put on a fireworks display for you.

I said that last night, KC. There were better neighborhood displays than the city one in Cottage Grove. I hardly even watched the city ones.

And there is no traffic to fight

Well that's not much of a comparison OT. CG has always sucked. :eyeroll:

But I do understand. There's a lot of $ being blown up out there. I took this year off but I'll be right back at it next year.
