I had never heard the latter term before, but had experienced being in Chiros Time at least once in my life.
The day Geo and I met again (after 32 years apart) it was like we went into a "magic envelope" that lasted the entire weekend. Even though we knew we had to be back at work on a certain day, it seemed the the weekend expanded to be all we wanted it to be. When we first saw each other, we were at the Duluth North Pier lighthouse, and the whole pier was packed with people watching ships coming and going on a gorgeous July afternoon. Yet, the moment we were in each other's arms, the crowd went softly out of focus...just like in the movies. Soon, we realized we were alone - everyone must have realized that we were two long-lost lovers, and they discreetly moved down the steps.
Anyway, at this class last month, we talked about the concept of deliberately entering Chiros Time, when there is something special going on to savor, or even when there is too much going on and it seems like there isn't enough time to do it all.
I've been deliberately practicing entering into Chiros Time nearly every day. It is really amazing what it has done for my ability to multi-task with grace and serenity. And I sure can tell when I am NOT doing my energy-centering meditations!
what day is it
and in what month
this clock never seemed so alive
I can't keep up
and I can't back down
I've been losing so much time
cause it's you and me and all of the people
with nothing to do
nothing to lose
and it's you and me and all of the people
and I don't know why
I can't keep my eyes off of you
all of the things that I want to say
just aren't coming out right
I'm tripping inwards
you got my head spinning
I don't know where to go from here
cause it's you and me and all of the people
with nothing to do
nothing to prove
and it's you and me and all of the people
and I don't know why
I can't keep my eyes off of you
there's something about you now
I can't quite figure out
everything she does is beautiful
everything she does is right
you and me and all of the people
with nothing to do
nothing to lose
and it's you and me and all of the people
and I don't know why
I can't keep my eyes off of you
you and me and all of the people
with nothing to do
nothing to prove
and it's you and me and all of the people
and I don't know why
I can't keep my eyes off of you
what day is it
and in what month
this clock never seemed so alive
I'd like to do something to jazz it up, and kinda bring back the good old days feel to it.
I would really like to have a drive-in in the woods somewhere, and only run horror flicks. After the double feature, you'd roll out a different way than when you came in. Through a long winding trip through the woods. Then as you are drivind through the woods, I'd have a sort of "hayride horror" thing setup up, to give you one last spook before youleave.
I'd like it anyway...
