You're too young to remember listening to The Shadow. But I think that's cool! :sillygrin: Inner Sanctum was good too. The broadcast started out with a creaking door sound. :eek:

We didn't get TV until I was 12. My dad was holding out for color and when he finally broke down and bought one, he had them install the antenna in the attic so the neighbors wouldn't know he had caved in. :goofy:

'the shadow' with alec baldwin is one of my favorite movies. He utters the immortal line "Psychically, I'm very well endowed."

I know the shadow from them mocking it on Rowan & Martins 'Laugh In'... (didn't think I knew that one either, didja?)

I never listened to it, but I would like to get some of the old radio programs someday, like a little collection of the thriller and mystery shows.

My earliest TV memory is watching Elvis on HBO... My earliest music (more important) memory is getting the Peter Criss "solo" album with a Mickey Mouse box type record player... On the radio-um, I remember Captain & Tennille (sp?) and that dumb Rhinestone Cowboy song being on 6 times an hour...

My son has been downloading old radio shows and listens to them when he takes his walks/jogs.

I will have to do a search for that someday soon... I have to get back upstairs and clean something now though... :frown:

WCCO used to air old radio shows really, really late at night. Maybe they still do. One time I was driving back up to our family vacation after coming home for a get together with my girl friends, and I started losing the station. I got off in Clearwater and sat at the truck stop until the show was over. :ooh:

looks like pink to me...

I selected the bears and adjusted the color curves to add red, that's how it's spossed to be done or else it looks like a red cut out.
