seems like anybody I tried to make plans with, is either out of town, or had other plans, so I gave up trying to make some...

that and pretty much anything I do, I'll be comparing it to everything that happened last year, and thats just not fair to anyone involved.

It's funny that you asked that. That moon stopped my in my tracks last night as I was walking towards my bathroom. I looked out the back window and our 4 oak trees were perfect silhouettes with the moon showing through the branches. Beautiful.

I wish I would have had my camera handy when I was driving home and a 747 fit inside the moon perfectly.

It was an amazing night! I "played" in the moonlight until 3:30am!!

First I bowled, next closed the bar and then played cribbage with friends. :sheepish:

lol yup. Poor Ian, there was a lot of snowfall between his hiding them and us finding them. Plus when ya have so many hides under your belt, they probably all meld together.

I told you...he's alrdy has 5k hides....he just needs to get them all approved...

given the powers that be... that might be a bit tougher. Ian, I'd suggest hiding a bunch in each park, but only list one every couple weeks (do it randomly so there's no pattern).

question - when you say "the mall" which mall do you refer to?

I hear that phrase a lot, and usually - atleast where Im at, and people that I hang out with and know, when they say "the mall" they refer to Maplewood....

and hardly anyone goes to the MOA....

otherwise, Ive found that people will name the mall, they're going to... I.E.: Rosedale, Burnsville, Northtown, Southdale...

Personally, when I say I'm going to the mall I mean MOA. Otherwise I name them individually. Except if I'm going shopping in Woodbury. Then I just say I'm going across the river and everyone knows what I mean.

I also call Herberger's, Van Arsdells and Baker's Square, Poppin' Fresh. And I invariably call Lands End Inlet, Outback Inlet.

Sorry... I meant the Burnsville Center... They have stuff, it costs money I don't want to spend, it is the mall. All the same to me.

I worked at a job where I addressed mail to St. Paul 1 MN. :chagrin: The numbers increased as you got further from downtown, just like Zip Codes. The Zip Codes for St. Paul just added 551 to the original number.

It looks like that photo studio was where Daytons/Marshall Fields/Macy's now stands. I don't remember it. There was an Erickson's Studio right around there as early as the 50's though.

MOA for me. I never set foot in other malls unless I'm forced to.
