My roommate was mentioning wanting to possibly get a food booth at the ramsey county fair next year, selling a style of rice krispy bars (gormet ones I guess).
Would you know what all is entailed in doing that? He seems pretty serious about it. Essentially testing the waters in a county fair before trying to get in at the state fair (no offense to the county fair mind you).
after registering it claims something like ALL WINNERS will be notified by February 14th.... if a person finds the medallion, one would think they would be know it and no one would have to tell them two weeks later.
Unless you're in parade line-up with them and you smile at them.. usually gets me one! :sheepish:
As for the having a unit in the parade.. sorry I didn't see this sooner, but it depends on the unit. Each parade is different - not sure what WBABA rates are, but business are one price, political another, visiting royalties are free...
Ok, more specifically then a church organization. We were discussing it earlier about how to get more kids in the kids night program and someone saw a float in the ramsey county parade another church did.
So I was just curious how feasible it might be for next year.
Could be very feasible.. if the church is from the East Side Neighborhood they may not be a charge (can't be sure).. but Google the "White Bear Ave Business Association" (WBABA). They are the producers of the parade.. you can email them now to get all the information so it gives you a year for planning. The girl in the office is Lisa.
nice to see you.

It will be after the big Federation of County Fairs Convention happening on the 15-17 of January.
I guess I had good timing in asking then anyway.
And all you need is your name enter once as there is no other drawings for prizes...
In the past you would register all your buttons because there were drawings for other prizes -
at least I get to keep all the registration cards in tact for collecting
I was feeling pretty last night!
Looking at the royal family pictures, looks like a great group!
Made me think you your daughter at halloween as the "princess".... or I mean "QUEEN"!
When can she go for junior royalty?
Call me if you need!!

BTW I heard Jimmy John's was there handing out mini subs. Beats the heck out of tossing candy.
