Oh yeah...if you want to bbq make sure to bring your own meat, buns, and condiments.
There will be a PeeWee Hunt also for the kids hosted by our own #1 Kid....ThoseMedallingKids.

I have never seen them get paid....Scooby get scooby snacks but that is from his friends. How do they make money to buy Scoobysnacks? moonlighting? take it off shaggy! whawho!

Those who are going to the picnic and have kids that want to participate in the kiddie hunt, let me know how many kids and how old they are. That way I can plan the hunt accordingly. Thanks!
Reg, you have no kids, and you are too big for this hunt. You can help some of the kids though. I'm looking to have each kids partnered up with an older person, for safety sake.
Did you see my post in the Shoot The Breeze about the Fern Room at the Conservatory? It ends the same day as this picnic. So that would be cool if anyone goes on the last day and gets pictures :)
I was there yesterday.
Is that the room with the upper and lower walking area and waterfall? That's the best room.
Its the room that is straight ahead from the main entrance. Yeah, there is an upper and lower walking path. They have the lower path blocked off though, and looks like they've taken out a number of ferns.
That's sad. I gotta go get some pix before it's gone.
That's too bad I had my wedding taken pic's there.
I have fond memories as a young teenager in love walking through there as if it would always be there ::sigh::

Why are they closing it after that 7 million dollar donation from Marjorie McNeeley's family? Makes me VERY sad too. It was the last time/place I saw my mother before she died.

There has been a change in location of the 1st Annual Puck Luck Lunch at COMO.
We are going to have someone out at the Como very early in the morning to hold down the fort for us at the Big Building near the Ball Park and where the ice sculptures were and where the Maze was. (Across the street from the Pool)
Hmmm, except you can't mere;y "hold it" if someone else already paid to reserve it for today. It's a bit early in the picnic season (which started yesterday) so it may not be reserved for today. I suppose I'm posting this too late anyway. I'll be there, but I'll be a bit late.
