How'd you get here so quick, Eags? I did have to let the Pigglettes out, potty, and answer an e-mail to my one boss, but... It couldn't have taken THAT long!

GOSH! Best yet! I KNOW I say that every year, but this time it really was. It was sssooooo sssslllloooowww and casual. You guys that didn't go to Obbs should certainly feel sorry. We had the best casual relaxing time! The owner put us in the basement party room - and as much as I like it for the Re-Hash Bash, I too think it too small... - and brought his DVD player down from his apartment for us and we watched NTFCF! That was the best - all of us together and watching that.

I got to know Iceman - he's been with us since 1998, if you didn't know it; used to post as Cereal Killer - and while this will blow his reputation: he is THE NICEST young gentleman! I just fell in love with him! Thoroughly enjoyed his company. Very pleasant, polite, respectful and mindful of others. Just a delite!

I've changed my mind. My favorite part of the movie is when Jake and Mappy Gooey Guy are being ssssoooo polite, sssssooooo patient with me - giving each other they 'eye' as I explain my reasoning for why the Med's hidden over on the other side o'CoNo at the south end o'the lake! IT WAS HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!! The looks on their faces were just PRICELESS!

That has always been my favorite part - from the first time we saw it over at the U.

Wish we could have made it over - but Inks' back just needed a good rest. (Tomorrow he is to have Physical Torture again.)

Isn't that the funniest, Terry? The tears were rolling down my face. I'd remembered Mappy Gooey Guy doing the 'eye' thighy at the camera, but hadn't remembered Jake giving Mappy the 'eye.' I laughed so hard! That right there sums up my noodling! Too effin' funny!!!

That was pretty fun today. Thanks to everyone who had a part in putting this thing together. Obbs was a good time as well. It was the perfect wind down that Green was alluding to in a previous post. The couple of us still left at the end walked away and looked back at each other outside of Obbs as we went to our cars knowing it was the end of another fun hunt. (clue explanations aside)

It was a nice calm feeling.

I love you guys. Really :sheepish:

Don't know about Mr. Med Hunter's Johnson. We've not had the pleasre to meet.

I ate Mr. Med Finder's pickle! The male half of the brother and sister act that found the Med.

I JUST REALIZED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is scary!!!!!!!!!

10 years ago... A brother and sister act found the Medallion! Maureen and Steve!

Anyway, can you believe it? Maybe he does think we were trying to poison him. I asked why he was eating and he said he was hungry. I asked why when he'd just left a pot luck and he said he'd only eaten a little there. I thought that was odd - free food, don't eat. Pay food, eat. Eags said it wasn't like he didn't have the money!

It sounds like I missed out on some fun at Obb's. To think I was having fun showing my wood to Snowjester and all the while I could have had my pickle eaten by Green at the bar! I really had fun yesterday and I just remember sitting there thinking that it really felt like a family picnic of sorts. I have grown fond of this group of people and it seems like each year I get to know a few more people. I hope to stay around more this year and participate in some smaller hunts. I would also like to go to Obb's more often. That place seems really cool and laid back. Please let me know if people ever go out for a drink. Ever since I got Tivo, I am not so anal about missing Canadian Parliament on C-SPAN.

SO...It seems to me there's a group of people that are asking for change for the sake of change - why is it needed? I always thought that half the fun of McGovern's was the crappy service.

Also: Child friendly = old. As we age as a group, being inside and sitting down becomes much more enticing. I'm not going to lie, I enjoy sitting down and being warm much more today than I did 10 years ago.

I thought so too. The service at Matty B's was so good compared to McGovern's. I would love for that to be our new predig home.

It was a good year to make the change too. With Santa Dave gone, it would have been harder for some of us to be at McGovern's anyway. He loved those hot turkey sandwiches with as much cranberry sauce as they would keep bringing him.

And being indoors for the rehash just makes it easier and conversation friendlier I think.

Did Allison get enough for the lodge?

One change this year (PDG) and one last year (RHB). The only question open is about the day of the week for the RHB. For the past couple of years, the superbowl has made a difference for some. I prefer the Sunday, but as we gear up again next year, we should try to come to a consensus for that day so we have that information up front and ready for everyone who only shows up here at hunt time.
