The real estate finance office officer that helped us arrange our mortgage loan - he's got 1/4 of a $50 bill printed on the back of his business card - you fold it in half and it looks fairly realistic.
We'll there it is - video proof that Brad actually has a heart... :goofy:
Something for you inventive souls to chew on - how come we can watch a touchdown in High-Def, even watch someone's organs get ripped from their body in high def video games...but these medical ultrasounds are still fuzzy images?!?
You'd think someone would've made a sound scanner with the resolution close to an old tube TV by now... is it because they don't want expectant parents to see the baby's unit in high-def before the big day?
HaHa - My heart has never been so big and in working order. There isn't a second that goes by that I don't appreciate that organ. Almost as much as that other one. :sheepish:
But you're right in the low-tech ultrasound machine. I asked her about why they don't even have a flat screen monitor and she said that the machine was only 2 years old and was the last to be sold that had the old style monitor attached. But even then the flat screen was no better as the resolution sent by the paddle on the skin was no better than before. It's still pretty trippy that you can look into the heart at all kinds of cross sections and not have any of the blood get in the way of looking at it until you set it to do so.
Speaking of hi-def genitalia, does anyone know if they have any pornos out there that are rendered in the Blu-ray format yet?
Sadly, they said that I didn't have an appointment with the doc today but only with the ultrasound tech. I'll get results from todays scan next Wednesday. I'll set up an appointment tomorrow to see the doc. I did talk with the charge nurse who works with my heart doc and mentioned that I would go back to work next week on a part time basis. She talked with my disability company and said they would authorize me to go back to work only after getting next weeks results first. Not only did the chest pain get worse from her running the scanner all over it, I discovered a black and blue area that is more than likely caused by having my blood too thin. I go in for my weekly INR test tomorrow to see how thick or thin my blood actually is.
I liked last week's results because I was able to have a few beers to bring the level up to a safe zone once again
I could watch the video from work but my computer wouldn't allow me to comment on flickr. The colors in that video was supposed to be the blood moving through his heart. cool.
Not sure who the mgmt co is but I know we have it. My assistant at the Target building once managed the Lasalle Bld. He said the account manager for that area was a pretty good guy once he got rid of riff raff
I just finished my interview with them. They want an Engineer at the unisys building in eagan. Crossing my fingers!! The guy said I interviewed well. He also said "I'm sure we can do a lot better" in regard to my hourly rate at MOA.
