My heartfelt sympathy to you and your family.

I can't begin to imagine - there are no words to take away the pain. I truly wish I could.

You and your family will be in our prayers, Steph. {{{{hugs}}}}

Didn't mean to sound crabby. Sorry. Havn't been on here or FB much at all. Too busy every weekend with liquidating Pennys Dad's stuff, setting up auctions, etc.

Saw a kettle of at least 35 eagles flying/migrating, on my way back after the funeral today. Now, if *that* isn't a sign, I don't know what is!

How was Steph?

I felt bad I couldn't be there for her.. although I know she was surrounded by many crew members...

I did send her a private message and sent flowers (which I hope got there)...

The place was packed even in overflow. Steph was obviously distraught and not really there but we helped by doing a few shots with her in the church parking lot. In true CC fashion.

I hope she got some decent sleep last night. It seemed like her hubby and gal pal were a good support system to have around.

Missed ya Kat. There were quite a few of us there representing the CC. Eags was even there all the way from the UP

The cycle of life is interesting. I lost my last grandparent the same day that Ali had her 13th birthday and Nick & Carolyn had their new baby girl. It just got me thinking of how life begins and the struggles in the middle (like tomorrow for me) and when it ends.

What does it all mean?

Other than 42 that is

Thanks. They laid him to rest yesterday under a big lone oak tree in a cemetery in Vegas. Just what he wanted

sounds 1800's cowboy era type of burial to me.

I am sorry about your grandpa honey

I won't forget how you were sharing good moments memories with me the night he died, not even knowing he was passing over that night.

...almost as if that's what he wanted you to remember. What a wonderful thought that is.

made me wish I was as lucky to have known him ... but I know you... and I'm sure a couple of his qualities rubbed off....so I am lucky.

This is interesting Eags.... I was thinking about the Flu in 1918 and how 2013 is becoming an epidemic to worry about 1918 proportions.

I honestly don't see it getting that bad, but who knows?

It probably wont get THAT bad, however, I don't recall a year worse then this in my lifetime... 2010 was bad though.

I got my flu shot yesterday - so if Im going to get sick it will be during the HUNT! BWAH!

nah, you usually get "sick" from the flu shot within 3 days of getting it. you'll be fine for the hunt.

I was let go from an appointment I had to continue my pain meds because they knew I was waiting in line for a flu shot earlier today. Which is a bonus because I really didn't need to see her anyway. They said they would say I showed up and all was same. Saved me and hour for being 30 minutes late. Just because they felt it was more important for me to get the shot rather than talk about my back pain. Speaking of, I messing with fire during the hunt as I quit my acupuncture as an experiment to see if it was helping me or my meds. I'm starting to tighten up every day since I stopped and the hunt is around the corner. I haven't had any real back pain since AW's hunt. I'm gonna have to take things super gental. If anyone sees me pushing it, go ahead and push me. I'm an idiot that way. :frown:
