Happy Easter Zeph (probably to late now). Was a beautiful weekend here with highs of about 60. Your grandma came down to see us and went to Diane's for Easter. We had a steak on the grill for you, but you didn't show up. I'll have to mail it to you. :)
Work is sending the wife and me to Las Vegas next weekend. We'll be working hard (at the slots). Looking forward to that.
Hulk fists. They make a punching noise when you hit something. Search, have you seen those Robot boots that are kind of the same concept? They make noise when you walk. Have to get myself a pair of them for the kidddies.

everyone's invited to treasure chest's and ares' house on saturday april 9th at 4pm to celebrate his homecoming.
we're providing the burgers and cheddar wursts. everyone else bring something to share, and a beverage. rsvp to me via email (jdm(don'tspamme)@visi.com) for directions and so we know how many burgers/brats to get.
he's supposed to be getting in either monday or tuesday of next week (the 4th or 5th). we'll keep you posted as we find out exactly when so we can meet him at the airport.

The cardboard Zephy WAS Zephy - to me. Know how kids latch onto a stuffed dog or cat, and that stuffed animal's REAL (in their mind)? Well, that 'fake' Zephy was as close as I could come to our 'real' Zephy, because that was all we could have. A stand-in. But he was real for me. He was here, with us, and did with us and went places with us and that was really Zephy. So now I gotta switch gears and deal with the REAL REAL Zephy! Ittiz kind'a awesome. Zephy's not gonna be cardboardy and typed words enkneemore!!! He's gonna be Zephy Zephy!
I just wanna look at him and think about how he was here but now he's really here. I just wanna think about what was and watch what's now. And think about what will be during the next Hunt!Â

oh well... I don't know how much notice I will have to give for the flight info, if anyone does plan on coming, I have to get a phone card for my Iraqi cell phone, and hope it works in Kuwait... Otherwise it will be a couple of hour notice from the states as to when I will be getting in...

when OTiS and I were leaving Germany we drove to the airport everyday for about 3 months to watch the planes. It seemed like forever before we were able to go home:)

esd is right. he's stanting guard over my riding lawn mower in the garage right now, after having his skeleton strengthened. the plan is to have him at the airport with a sign that says "have you seen me?" and maybe a few milk cartons scattered around for good measure :)

he's supposed to be landing in dallas at around 11 am, and arriving at msp at 525 this afternoon. as near as i can tell, that's nwa flight 3650 or american flight 3729, for anyone who's interested in going to the airport to meet him.
zephy has confirmed flight details. american airlines flight 3729 from dfw to msp. arrives 1725. meet at the appropriately displayed baggage claim in the lindbergh terminal
