just ordered a daypack online (none of the stores in town had em).
Made by north face, the "borealis" pack. Though I didn't get it for the name (just had the features I liked), I thought it an interesting tribute to the cache king.
Ahh, I remember those from the boundary waters canoe trip I took once. The outfitter we used swore by them, and had quite a few on hand for us to use. Really tough, wish I'da thought of those, but didn't think they made daypacks (till I looked at the catalog).
Oh well, I'm sure the one I got will be fine for now. Though next time I'm up in Duluth, I'll have to check that place out, just might decide to upgrade.
Kris is going to a bowling tournament on Sunday in Duluth. This is one of our two visits to Duluth each year. (The other is in June for Legion baseball.)
I just got the newest Duluth Pack catalog. I could almost find something I *need* on every page.
The bad luck: I'm still not working. If I'm going to get a pack, this has to be the trip. I'd better check on motel rooms.
Not a bad day. Got three caches in Duluth, including my FIRST IBcrashen cache, hid a cache on the shore of Lake Superior (there's a TON of work going on here) and got my DULUTH PACK !!!!!
double aa's and my flashlight...beyond that....Heck I don't go for long hikes in minnesota...
but if ever go to the mtns. I'm going to be lost. so a case of aa's.
and of course...... extra pencil, extra ziplocs and trading trinkets. All stuffed into a big fanny pack.
Well, thank you, Ma'am
and where in the hell have you been?

I've looked at the Duluth Pack catalogs, and online, but I guess I'm going to wait until I can actually see them. We're going to Duluth next month.

Cool Ian!
Next pack I'm gettin will be a duluth one, that's for sure.
Actually thought the mini pack (they make em for tree ornaments) might make a cool travel bug.
Did you get the newly placed "Starry Night"? I thought that one looked interesting.
I don't have a pack.
::hangs head in shame::
I've got your pack....... right here
CM's "Pack".

I picked up one of those, a key fob, and some cool leather logo coasters.
