I didn't verify my reports until this morning, and they're all wrong.
When I created one of my databases, I had accidentally changed the date from 20050101 to 20050201, so none of my January info was included in my reports.
I'm sure it WAS a great time! And what a great day for being outside!
I'm sorry I didn't make it... I wanted to so badly, but I've had this HORRIBLE cold for 2+ weeks. Prior to Fri afternoon it was more a nuisance than anything - didn't feel bad, just SOUNDED horrible. But I got to feeling puny - REALLY BAD Fri nite - and all day Sat I kept going to and fro on whether or not I'd go on Sun.
Felt bad Sat and figured the best thing for me to do on Sun was just continue to take it easy. I didn't have the energy to walk across the room, let alone all over Hell's back acre looking for caches.
I'm really bummed I didn't feel well because I was really looking forward to the get-together. :(
ok first off- IAN? THANK YOU
, your event helped me keep my mind off some things and focus energy elsewhere. The day you chose couldn't have come at a better time AND the weather cooperated beautifully.

A quick note of thanks to all who attended, to mucluck for everythingyou do, to Arcticabn and Timbrewlf for their assistance, to Zoejam72 for temp cache retrieval, and to Kitchfor making the only appearance by a MnGCA board member.
not sure myself, wasn't there last time they had an election. Eh well, I'd rather just cache.. boards require more responsibility, and makes ya a little higher profile.
I use Outlook Express that downloads from Hotmail every 5 minutes. Anything from geocaching.com is sorted into a separate folder. Geocaching mail sent directly to my hotmail account (virtual cache answers, etc.) is manually sorted.
I have a temp folder where I keep DNF's or maintenance problems, until those issues have been resolved.
I have a g-mail account I don't use, because I like the e-mail directly D/L to my computer. Most e-mail has been saved, currently over (looking) OMG21,500 messages.
Ian that was great.... Thanks....
Mucluck thanks for walking with us and helping out.
Even with the boys :)
Was great to see everyone out there.
Cooler! I thought green would have made that event for sure. I wonder why she didn't show up?
Hope she didn't get lost looking at her gps...
Just got back from the event.....great turn out!
Thanks Ian for setting this up. I think everyone had a great time.
I got just enough time to take a shower before heading over to Ferns.
OTS, Pay me, Scribbles, me2, KCOGRN, Timmers, Kitch (for a few minutes) IanÂ
hope i didn't miss anyoneÂ
I was wondering the same thing :)
Thanks to everyone for showing up, especially the onlyboard member, and the former "navigator", current "guide"
I think it really went over well, and there were several who attended that I have NO idea who they are. COOL
Thanks for everything...we had a very nice time!!
great event, thanks again Ian for setting it up, looking forward to the CITO event in April!
Off to log my finds for the day. BTW I'm planning a run on the baker's dozen (those 13 new caches) next sunday afternoon, anyone game?

THX I heard about how you "work"? ;P

Worked from when I got up at 8:00 until about 2:00.

So don't believe a word Scribe is saying.

heh
If you found all 5 temps, you are able to post 6 logs on the geo101 site:
1 for the event, and a separate log for each temp that you found.
So far I have received over 200 e-mails pertaining to the event.
yeah me2, forgot to remove it from my watchlist :)
That's alotta email Ian, how do you manage the usual flow anyway?
