This is strictly for non-political, fun conversation. It's alot easier to discuss things with someone when you realize you have some common interests, fishing, music etc. Besides, lets face it, politics gets old sometimes too :) Enjoy, Please, NO flaming, name calling etc. Have some fun!
You worked with crabgrass?
The study produced "the predicted results," he said.
"I found that if you made men more insecure about their masculinity, they displayed more homophobic attitudes, tended to support the Iraq War more and would be more willing to purchase an SUV over another type of vehicle," said Robb Willer, a sociology doctoral candidate at Cornell."
That explains why a cupcake such as yourself drives a 4 cyl. econobox death trap?
Starting to feel defensive already, huh torpedo? Lashing out at the messenger would be a predictable first instinct of someone insecure about their masculinity.
uh, rat, this is thread is for non-political fun stuff.
this is non political fun stuff
no it is quite political
Only tangentially.
well, there you go. i'll take that as a first. that is to say an admission that i was right and proof that miracles do happen!
A constant need to be told you are right is probably a symptom of masculine insecurity, jethro. Do you need to surround yourself with Yes Men and Yes Women in order to prop up your ego?
Jerry Garcia deserves this at least:
"Like an angel/standin' in a shaft of light/rising up to paradise/you know I'm gonna shine."
Estimated Prophet, From Terrapin Station
This is almost funny. Any reference to being male, no matter how vague, makes a male insecure, according to Rick. I think we all can see who has the problem.
Â
It's kinda funny watching those two falling over each other trying to prove who the BiGGER MAN is.
Do they remind you of certain occupants of the White House?
Sorry, this isn't supposed to be political.
Triple 7 Joe
I see fold is incapable of grasping what is being said.  Come on, dude, you can't be that dumb, can you?Â

"Now how did you get "A constant need to be told you are right.." from my post?"ÂÂ
I was just making a statement. Looks like you saw yourself in it. Feeling a little insecure, jethro?
Feeling a little insecure, jethro?
They threw me out again after one post.
Awright, I'll get off this subject, jethro. You can handle it better than them. For that, I'll give you credit.

Quick, someone do the conversion for jet printer ink. ! Yikes
What's the point of this exercise?
What's the frequency Kenneth?
I threw one out yesterday, didn't work from the beginning, a full container of ink. I can't stand buying those things and I use a lot of them.
I tried the kits a few times. Half the ink ends up anywhere but the cartridge.
My 4 year old daughter learned about the print icon. The other day she printed a 62 page PDF file in COLOR!. It was a friggen owners manual for my lawnmower. If anyone needs a manual in German for a 5.5 h.p Honda let me know, I have one.
Next cartridge please ! GRRRRRR

What's wrong with "The Kids Are Alright" ?
I'm guessing it should be "all right", not "alright".
I thought that either all right or alright was correct. I might look it up sometime.
Alright is considered improper, although many people use it.

I bow to your superior research.
Like many shortened spellings, alrightmay have first been used by journalists (for space considerations).
Â
Superior nothing.
I just remember my teacher ripping me for using "alright".
:-)
