Hang a toilet seat vertically from a horizontal closet rod, and have people chuck rolls of toilet paper through it from about 20 feet away. It's not as easy as is sounds. - Just bind the rolls together with some tape before you start, or they will unwind and you'll basically be TP'ing someone's yard.
This Crosby event always falls on my youngest daughters birthday party day so I will have to let you know, but I'd really like to help out with the ammo can or film can toss.
I have a ladder"golf" (football?) set, too (sturdy metal one)...I even still have all of the the footballs thingys! Let me know if you need an additional set
oh yeah Ians event.... I stumbled upon this just now, thought this was a new thread for posting Cooler Crew help .... like Kat needing a volunteer at the parade last week or Icesis needing help moving on July 31st.
I may be able to get some boxes from here at work - but the size and shape varies widely from week to week - next time the bin needs to be emptied into the baler, I'll try to save a few 'decent' sized boxes (if you need some).
OK Emptied the bin - Here's what I got that's useable:
Seven boxes - 14.5 x 13.5 x 21.5 inches (small picnic cooler size)
Seven Boxes - 14 x 14 x 10 (about liquor store size boxes)
Four Boxes - 13 x 9 x 11 (oversized lunchbox)
We may have another full bin before the end of the week, but I dunno what may we available. Someone reply back with a yay/nay for needing the boxes - if we need to drive them somewhere, I would STRONGLY recommend dinner at Yarusso's sometime this week.
anybody know how to lay linoleum flooring well? We bought some strips that are supposed to look like wood laminate that I tried laying down (cluey, serious question, no laying/wood jokes please) and screwed up massively. So I've got 3 boxes, a really sore back and a perturbed wife. help!
Probably not a good idea for your back either! That's all you would need is to aggravate it again when you just started a new position :frown:
The absolute must-have tool for any laminate flooring job - a compound sliding Mitre Saw (preferably with a sawdust catcher).
Having one of those (with a really good blade in it) makes trimming those planks and squares a snap. I'd put the saw just outside whatever room you're working on - either the patio or the garage. The dust from cutting that laminate stuff is something you really don't want to be cutting indoors.
ian is blocked from this thread at this time....
this is going to be a HUGE geocaching event...hopefully we have about 500 people show up!!!!
