I wear contacts, I generally don't have a problem, but I usually wear shades when I'm treasure hunting and during the winter. Partially because I look so friggin' sweet, but mostly because it keeps the wind from blowing scrap into my eyes. So get a decent pair of wraparounds and you'll be fine.
Shades for sure. Big time when there is lots of snow cover. Snow blindness will get you bad after a long time looking. Wrap arounds work well to protect your peripheral vision that normal shades don't cover. Sucks to have it go and not know it till you need it.
I don't wear them cause I have terrible eyes kitchy (infact with them in - it's such a slight perscription, I see 20/15) I don't wear them in the summer at all. I only wear them in the winter when it gets dark and there are lots of car lights etc which make things kinda strange and reflective. I prefer everything that much crisper at night. (and hoen in my ability to see the medallion)
that's what my contacts correct is the halo's from snow/light. I always have a pair of shades on my head - and they do wrap - so I'll be sure to bring them everywhere with me.

just in-case anyone was planning on coming out for gordy's gig on saturday, the show has pretty much been cancelled, the bar has been closed down all week and the owners cell phone is disconnected, next month they will be back at JJ's in north branch, that ones closer anyway :smile:
Yeah, new parks take time to get to a finished stage. Usually years. Vento Nature Sanctuary has been in the works for a few years and they're only half finished with it.
