I'm wondering if they arn't using the memory from this place for their other websites. Theres only 11 people online, that shouldn't be a problem. They said at the beginning that this was on a shared server...

possibly a png will work, I'm not sure, haven't tried it.

They would all work, but they have to be under the maximum size specs for an avatar - something like 220x220 pixels or less than 20kb in size.
