im headin out there in like 20 mins.... day 1 of my 3 day, yearly "fair-a-thon"....it will consist of just seeing whats new, and finding the cool stuff... and seeing whats changed....and then we go see James Taylor...
Big day is tomorrow.... probably gonna be out there all day....since im going with my mom, as is tradition, because together we know all the right places to go, and ho to get there.... seriously...you lookin for being worn out, and not being able to move the next day? We're the ones you gotta come with.... spend like 14 hours out thre last year.....
Day 3 will be sept 3rd....because im being dragged with by a group of cousins/their friends, that day too....
Oddly enough, my arch enemy REO SPEEDWAGON has chosen this same night for their performance again....
I think their coming to finish the job from a couple years ago!!
we went saturday. i love the fair. we get discount tickets at work, so $7 for adults. and the park and ride is free.. so that's pretty good. i had a really good time this year. better than the couple times past. but yes, its' getting spendy!
The food is a piece of it, but I usually only eat one or two things. I like the people watching, the giant slide, the overhead buckets, the space needle, riding the ferris wheel as the sun goes down, games on the midway, visiting the animals, looking at the art, getting free 3M products, watching the news and radio folks, and more.
don't know why i go. i have to get cheese on a stick.. but that's about it. i just like going to go i guess. walk around and look at people and things. it just seems to be the thing to do i guess!
