is there already a sink by where your putting it? They are easy to put in. I could help ya. Screw the permit...You don't have to let an inspector in your house. How would they ever know?
Heh, my grandma got a new dishwasher for Christmas.. we didn't know anything about an install permit.. of course she's in oakdale.. not sure if they have one.
As I understand it, permits are only required for any new plumbing work is done. If you're just installing a new dishwasher to existing plumbing you don't need a permit.

seriously though, i've never heard of a permit being a requirement for replacing an existing dishwasher. technically they're required for a water heater replacement because of the gas line involvement, but no one ever does.

Two weeks ago my membership expired (I have since renewed) but while it was expired I still had access to read all the threads. I just couldn't post. Is this right? If that is the case then anyone who doesn't pay can still read our posts? I would think if we are worried about lurkers during the hunt, that we should at least lock the hunt thread for only those who pay to be here. Otherwise we are not really paying for privacy if anyone can view and re-post what we say on the crazy boards.
This issue has been brought to Tim & Mark and they have been working on a solution. They originally made it this way so people could see but not post so they would want to pay to post to join in the conversation. But it works against our situation since we don't want anyone to see anything. I'll ask again on where they are with this as I know they're going to be busy modifying things to get all the World Crossing members over here now that their shutting their doors over there.
Ok people I am thinking about going back to the Hosp. for a few days after all the shit I found out today and I am having a really Hard time dealing with it! it feels like Over load but I dont want anyone to Post anything On Face book or tell anyone out side of the CC at all! Good Evening. This has been quite the week - but it's been longer than that.
My mom, who was feeling better ended up in the ER yesterday. By 9:30 we had her back home and she is to see her own physician tomorrow.
My father-in-law who was doing better and in a care center for some therapy is again in the hospital with fluid on both lungs again.
Work is crazy. A major system went down yesterday and some things are practically at a stand still. Everyone is complaining to me because this makes everything on the network super slow. I know they are working to get things back up and running, and are doing the best they can. So deal with it. Chill out and be happy you can get some work done. The network is slow. It's going to be slow until this one part is fixed. Nothing I can do about it.
One of the people that I supervise got caught in the middle of one woman going off, unprovoked, at another first thing this morning. I heard about it from three different people before I heard it from her today. If I was that other woman's supervisor, she would have been long ago. She is a total nutcase.
Today I got a replacement debit card from our bank that I'm supposed to activate with my pin number.....except I don't have one of those and I've never had a debit card so why am I getting a replacement?
Tomorrow is Finally Friday. I hope all the craziness ends with the weekend. Of course if it all ended at 8am tomorrow, I'd be mighty happy.
My mom will be okay from what we know now. Please keep my father-in-law in your prayers.
Thanks CM. I'm so grateful that Inks' brother lives out there. I don't know what we would do if we had to take care of parents that live 120 miles apart when it all piles up like this.

There are over a hundred CC members with many others paying to lurk who don't choose to say who they are. If we decide to do that we should really put the CC Welcome thread back 'outside' where they can find us once again.
I'm sure it would only take a day of data entry and then update as needed although we won't know when accounts expire.
Is this what we want here? They are discussing changing forum rules and options, so I posted what I thought we wanted here. Post any input if you want something different or if you want to elaborate.

actually with the new rules and free hosting of folders anyone could host a hunt folder during the hunt for free. If no posts in 30 days it gets deleted.

I agree about the Welcome Home folder being outside the main CC folder.
Can a person just sign up, not pay and still lurk? That was never a paying customer before?
