I went to see Beans hamster Marie thisafternoon, give her some one-on-one time...she wasnt moving. she was only with us for 13 days but I am in shambles and can't breathe -no I am not ok. I keep thinking there is something I coulda done. Mark is going to Petco to try to replace her before Beans gets home from school. I don't think I can handle letting her feel what I have today! I never thought I would try the switheroo but when it happens to you you may understand.

We had hampsters as a kid. I found mine when it died. I really don't remember being that sad about it.

well Mark brought home a hamster that has the same colors but too feisty, buggy rat like eyes and bites too much. She wont let you hold her where Marie would sit in your arms with no troubles- I think she is irreplaceable- I think she actually died late last night which means she would have died on my grandma's birthday :( . We are gonna tell Beans :( - well at leat Mark is cause I can't handle it. I took an advil for my headache and my stomach is turning :( - we are probly gonna take this one back and let her pick out another one. yah know sometimes it is a bummer when a pet dies but when you find one with personality that dies is very hard.

Sorry me2. I know it may be hard to loose a pet but it doesn't come close to seeing your kid loose the same pet. I hope Beans is 'cool' with her new Hampy the Hamster.

well - update- I had to go to my eldest daughter & nieces clarinet/band concert last night with RED eyes and a puffy face. I felt like if anyone looked at me they would think I were high!

Both girls had solos- they were both awesome! They both play the clarinet and sit practically next to each other-I hope this brings them close as they grow up- they are 7 months apart.

Anyhow- Beans got home from school saw her hamster (from a distance)in the cage on the table in the kitchen not thinking anything different. Mark told her that I went to check on her hamster and she had died (her face! just a blank look staring at me - then her eyes began to get tears-THEN...) Mark in the same sentence says... but we got you another hamster. She looks over at the cage and was a little confused but all happy again! She talked about how the first one was sick. She named this one Mary Sweetie the 2nd. and she says if she didn't like this one (since she didn't get to pick her out) that we would exchange her and the next one would be called Mary Sweetie the 3rd. NOTE: Mary is Jacques girl friend in Cinderella- seamstress.Sweetie is just a dumb 'pet name' that kids like to always make up.

I'll tell yah-this one has already fallen 3 times from being so squirmish (once practically going into convulsions from a fall)I dont know if this one will make it- I went into the bedroom twice and it flew across the cage like I scared it or something- I think this one is on something or will die from a heartattack!

I still feel awful for what happened.

The kicker to this thing. 2 of the 3 items we required fixing on the purchase agreement were either not fixed at all or partially completed. (The stuff you could see without going out of your way to look was done half-a$$ed to say the least) I hope the people don't show so I don't lose my cool. I am sooooo ticked off right now it's not even funny.

Hey, did anyone catch the new Matrix movie tonight during their sneak preview? All I'll say is WOW!! The fight scenes and the chases have to be the best I've ever seen. Stick around for after the closing credits to see the new Matrix - Revolutions trailer. It makes you crave for more. Well worth the wait. Speaking of waiting, you'll need to wait until Thanksgiving to see it though.

Speaking of me2, there was a huge question in the new Matrix movie where the answer was Me Too. I couldn't help but think about you.

It was hard to tell. It lookedclosed. But there wasn't a sign or anything like that explaining. I know they usually are only open during the summer, and we wondered if they normally wait until Memorial Day to open.

But, if you called the phone # and it was not in service, that doesn't sound good.
