Does anyone know why they don't let off the canon anymore when the med has been found?

Just got back from Mounds & Cherokee. There was plenty of action at both places, but the Mounds faction got tired awfully quick. At Cherokee, there were plenty of folks digging around the bathroom pyramids. Our little group was trying to find how the other clues related though... we're stuck on "mode"/"demo" = "dome." The Cathedral lights were off. Can you see it clearly during the day from there?

Got back from Cherokee a while ago. Looks like a war zone. 2 West side officers were there for a while.....one said he "knew" it was at Cherokee?

Green or Black Widow are either of you still on? Green, how was the show today?

That's unknown, just like when do they hid the thing. I think it's right when a good snow fall comes. They have to be watching the parks year after year and find a spot that's not disturbed and where snow would gather to keep it hidden. Do you think there ar two sets of clues? In case people are getting to close they throw a looper in to drive you off track?

The cathedral can be seen from parts of cherokee. Just a musing... there are 2 shelters and one has two more rounded domes, the bathroom has three very angular pyramids. Near Chippewa, towards the south end, you can line up the NSP stack, the bathroom pyramids and the shelter with 2 domes. We dug around there some. Perhaps better luck tomorrow.

Also, someone earlier asked about Landmark. You can see the Landmark stack also from cherokee plain as day. When they had the neon sign lit we could see it from our house a block back from the park.....

A place where kids like to zoom, keep up the pace and win our race, if you're on the wrong track----maybe a go-cart track?

A place to play that would make winter more pleasurable, "mode" "demo"----a golf "dome"?

Hmmmmm......

Hello,

Could it be at Mounds not like at the park,

but maybe its like on the clif side, by the stairs,

you can almost see every clue, and the two-devistion this

might be becouse theres the stairs, and next to them is a trail,

then dont forget about the 3monds next to that.

It was mentioned about 2 hours ago that the medallion might have been found at mounds park someone said they thought they saw 3 people ride off in a van showing the medallion. At least that's what i heard, don't know how true it is.

I find that hard to believe that someone found it at mounds when there is no way in hell that it was hidden there.

There is no actual proof that is was found, yet. That's just what i read it was posted around 1:30am

The 3 mounds by the stairs, or just the lots of trees,

theres tons of things...

Look at Charakee it was dug up,

if you stand on the clif side at mounds and look down

theres three things that you can see at the airport,

for landin planes, but they look like them...

This is the actual posting:Hello, just got back from Mounds Park and we were next to a group of people that drove

off showing the medallion from the window of their van. They were digging by the big oak tree north

of the bathroom and 2 shelters with prymid shaped roofs. Could be true or not sure. But it sure

looked like they were not joking. We'll just have to wait and see !

I spent all day yesterday at mounds and was trying to get things to fit but they didn't.Cherokee has all the clues in it's favor. That little thing about the guys in the van,I am sure some of us have had a few beers by now and would say,"Hey lets drive by mounds and show off a silver dollar and scream look I found the medallion".I know where u can find them now, their van is wrapped around a tree somewhere in St Paul!!!

Been to Mounds all night Friday night(Fri) and CP all night(Sat) ... I think we've all missed something very obvious! The PYRAMID theories as stated for each don't add up ... look harder about somewhere else .... will advise in a few hours ... checking it out.

ABETRED: I'm going NUTS with this thang!!! The people who said they have it, well, to bad they can't prove it! I have not tried Cherokee Park, but was at Highland tonite. Anyone think it might be there? What's another clue for the pyramids besides bathrooms? I'm also still stuck with that Double division thing! Help, I'm hooked & I can't give up!

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 5:29 AM Permalink
Axel

I thought it was at Highland until the double division clue which made it clear to me that it is at Cherokee and I'm still convinced it is at Cher after seeing the pyramid clue.

Axel your still up too? What's up with that? can't get those clues out of your head?

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 5:53 AM Permalink
Axel

Yes you could say that. I'm going to go back out to Cher when it starts to get light out; in about a half hour.

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 5:57 AM Permalink
Axel

Marie: you might want to check out Cherokee if you haven't already. The double division at Cher could mean either that it is on a street; annapolis that devides two cities and also divides two counties or at the corner of annapolis and cherokee hights blvd the sign says two different cities mendota and lillydale so it divides st. paul from two different cities. Hope that helps you some.

Cheryl.... Hi! It's there, but not in snow, I'm thinking. Will still be at the cat show today. Had hoped to get on here this am and see that you'd found the Med. :( Will get back on sometime tonite, but don't know when. I'm sure it will have been discovered by then. Best of luck!!!! E-mail me with your name, etc. and I'll get in touch w/you later... Maybe next year you and I'll leave Hubs at home with the dog and we'll go Med Hunting!!!

BW: Morning! Got to bed at 5:00 a.m. Sat. (Just missed Cheryl getting back on by a whisker!) The cats had me up at 7:45!!!!!!! Drug my VERY weary arse down to Civic Center... Show going well! Bugged the good ossifers of St. Paul constantly, "Officer, have you HEARD???? Did they find the Medallion?????" Nobody knew... !!! Will run by CP on way to show today.

Side Line: At The Saintly City's Cat Club Annual Winter Carninval Show today, The Royalty will show up at +/- 3:00 p.m. to crown and cape (anagram of "pace"!!! SHEESH!!!!! I'm NEVER looking for the Med again!!!) the Best Male and Female Household Pets!!! It's really a big thing - pretty cute, too!!! If you're tired of tearing up CP, stop by the show and enjoy a little of the indoor sports. I'll be in a dark forest green t-shirt that says, "Love From The Twin Kitties" on it.

A clue just hit me!! LOL!!! "We'd be the first to say that a place to play can make any winter more pleasureable." Civic Center!!!!! Where have we all been folks??? LOL!!! This also ties in w/"With this in view you'll soon be back," as the new hockey team will be homed there!!!! Please note I did mention previously "back/CC" but I never had gotten the connection of "place to play can make any winter more pleasureable."

Ta-ta for now!!!

Pat: Go back to about 11:00 p.m. - 3:00 a.m. Friday/Saturday. You're reading too much into my notes. I've known it was at Cherokee since Friday afternoon!!! The majority of ideas you're pursing were originally mine, combined with about only five other people.

The Medallion IS NOT, IS NOT IS *NOT* at the Civic Center. But the clues do reference CC... and I'm just so punchy from looking for the Med, that I couldn't help but notice that "cape" is the anagram for race.

You're 100% correctamundo. It's at Cherokee, and no place else.

Go, Cheryl & BW!!!!

Catch you later!
