It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.
DaBrewMan
Red object refers to ball shaped object on the power lines so planes know where they are (That are fling downhill)
# 10 makes me mad! I was convinced it was highland because the actual street address of highland is 954 Snelling St and Homer (author of the Odyssey and a
baseball reference) St runs right into the south side of the park. I thought I had it all figured out. Go figure!
But wait.."what's in a name is today's little game"...Tim Conway is know for his 'DORF' videos...unscramble the letters and it spells FORD, 'twitty' is 'witty' to a 't'.
Ford Parkway forms a T on snelling, and what do you have there, but HIGHLAND PARK!!!
the Med is in a balloon.. that way it takes up as little space as possible in the snow and the words are well hidden on it... baseball/softball is too damn big
Bathrooms at conway would have to be in the rec center builing on the north side, can't confirm they're in there, but I know they're nowhere else since I had to pee
Stallion, soak in a hot tub of peppermint soap. You'll feel SOOO much better!
Jackie, MJ doesn't put any credence into those two house numbers, either. She also didn't when, as we were leaving Peking Way via the bock door (back parking
lot) - we were behind a bus and I screamed, "9, 5!!!" as that was two o'the four numbers...
You get goofy after awhile, know? Where in your everyday life, everything has meaning and ties into the clues!!!
GREEN - I know what you mean. Sometimes I just read the posts and spend the next half hour hounding people who aren't interested in talking clues till they get
sick of being harrased and leave. Then there are usually enough people around after than to have an intelligent conversation.
I think we're all going to be confused on the 954 clue until the explanations are posted. No one has come up with something solid on it yet. Personally I think it's a
poorly written clue, but done so purpously since they just can't give out to much info when it's in such a small park.
It used to be said that early clues...usually the 2nd, 3rd or 4th talked about what it was in....not a sighting to get you to it. I wonder if it has anything to do with what
You didn't whine, Deb. Besides, cheeze goes well with whine!!! <g>
You got long dark hair, and were you out today with your Daught???? If so, I was the one in black that kept going, "Huh? HUH????" about whatever you were
So far, the only thing i have heard that relates conway park with 9 5 and 4 are something about highway 94 and it's near highway 5...also the idea of number of
players on sports teams

Just got back from the dig. I'm exhausted and frustrated. Even when you figure outthe park (I was holding out for Midway Stadium until clue 10 - in fact we waited
for the clue by cel phone, ready to dig there) there's no telling where to dig. Me and the other 500 hunters were the blind leading the blind. But I don't think we're
The medallion has always been found. Even the year it was at Newell. That was the closest it ever came to not being found...and the snow was so much deeper than
it is this year. The early edition of the next day's paper actually printed an additional clue. The medallion was found before that paper came out.
First off, its not always a process of elimination. Usually the clues are vague enough you could fit them to any park if you really try. So what you often have to look
for it what park do they fit *best*. So here we go.
Clue #1. I don't think it actually indicated the presence or lack of a golf course, they just wanted to tell people to stay off of them. There is however, possibly
coincidentally, a couple of "No Golfing" signs at Conway.
Clue #2 Conway does have a sledding hill on the far east end.
Clue #3 (my interpretation) Numbers keep score and adorn the front door refers to the fact that the park is on the 2020 block. The 9-5-4 is referring to I-94 and
Minnehaha (5). Conway would be the only park bewteen them with adresses that started with a 2-0.
Clue #4 The treasure has never been hidden in Conway before, therefore it is something new to those who have studied past hunts.
Clue #5 There is a library on the park grounds.
Clue #6 "A man of fame with a useful name" is Henry Hudson as what hunter would be without a Hudson Guide? Old Hudson Rd. is 1 block south of the park.
Clue #7 Trees in a line = WOOD ROW = Woodrow Wilson from which you get Wilson St. the southern border of the park.
Clue #8 There are translucent peaks on SunRay as well as one on the rec center. There is still some dispute as to which one the clue refers to.
Clue #9 There is a large water tower visible from the park, as well as the large 3M sign lit up in red, high in the sky.
Green, are you a woman? I thought you were a man for some reason. But then again, I'm a man, and everyone thinks I'm a woman (Allison is my last name you see,
but I like the name Allison Wonderland too much to not use it).
Red object refers to ball shaped object on the power lines so planes know where they are (That are fling downhill)
What do you think Grandma?
I have a hunch maybe the medallion is buried in a piece of " a dress" a white one even

everbody is thrown of thinking the numbers refer to an address
the Med is in a balloon.. that way it takes up as little space as possible in the snow and the words are well hidden on it... baseball/softball is too damn big
SHARON???????

THE PAPER TODAY OR TOMM NOT LEAVING TILL WE FIND IT WERE OUTTA HERE 10,000 G
Howard Stern is an iconoclast. And Howard street is at Conway park.
Bathrooms at conway would have to be in the rec center builing on the north side, can't confirm they're in there, but I know they're nowhere else since I had to pee
for about three hours straight when there!
YES GREENSLEEVES AND DUMB COMMENTS LIKE RAYS
How about the location of those bathrooms anbody??? or do you want to know how I got my name.
I had to come in and say this.... Pointer: Howard Ct points into Conway Park. Eddie Howard--crooner goes first--died 1963 Moe Howard--funny man goes
last--died 1975 I would look for a sign.
SEE,IT NEVER STOPS!!!!!!
Stallion, soak in a hot tub of peppermint soap. You'll feel SOOO much better!

DON'TCHA LOVE IT!!!!!!!
Bearly - how the Hell did you come up with that? Color me impressed! Not sure it is right - but still impressed.
GREEN - I know what you mean. Sometimes I just read the posts and spend the next half hour hounding people who aren't interested in talking clues till they get
sick of being harrased and leave. Then there are usually enough people around after than to have an intelligent conversation.
Gold, Rec center open and places for bio breaks inside. Yup. Been there, done it... LOL!!!
The bathrooms are indeed in the rec-center and the mens is a little bit stinky but they remain functional nonetheless
A pointer is a dog....Maybe by the keep your dog leashed signs?
Kinda like the guys before talking about the medallion being in a condom- they wouldn't let it drop! It was stupid!
I THOUGHT YOU KIDS WERE TOLD TO GO TO BED AT 900 - IF YOUR GOING TO STAY UP MAYBE YOU SHOULD SCROLL THROUGH
EARLIER CLUES
The address for the rec center by the way is 2090...not 2020.
I think we're all going to be confused on the 954 clue until the explanations are posted. No one has come up with something solid on it yet. Personally I think it's a
poorly written clue, but done so purpously since they just can't give out to much info when it's in such a small park.
Well, all... I must toddle. Gotta get up early and hit the war zone. Like I'm gonna find it. Rite... NOT!
Oh, well! Beats working!
Good luck and good hunting, all! See you on The Twitty Tim Battlefield! May the best hunter/ess win!!!
2020 IS THE ADRESS TO THE PARK!!!
It's got to be found tonight with all the people there. I could only stay for 1 1/2 hours. That wet snow is heavy. Could luck to ya!
Otay, I lied...
It used to be said that early clues...usually the 2nd, 3rd or 4th talked about what it was in....not a sighting to get you to it. I wonder if it has anything to do with what
round white stretched thing it's in.
BY THE WAY GREEN I WOULD BEG TO DIFFER ON WHO STARTED THE WHITE BANDANA TO I.D. COOLERCREW
Green: I think I'll bring noodles to the rehash bash!!!
It was Mom, as in E&H's Mom that brought the coffee last year! Sorry, Mom!

damn so is it a shoveling frenzy out there rupert?
All right Allison, what valuable sign does the wood row point to? Wilson Ave? and why is it valuable?
Well, I've gotta go get horizontal for awhile. Goodnight, happy hunting, and may you all have wonderful medallion dreams!
I have heard the "True Value" store sign..or something like that...
I still cant figure out the 9,5, sometimes 4 clue
I either need to get horizontal or get Inks vertical. I'm beginning to think vertical is out of the question.
GOOD NITE ALL
You didn't whine, Deb. Besides, cheeze goes well with whine!!! <g>
You got long dark hair, and were you out today with your Daught???? If so, I was the one in black that kept going, "Huh? HUH????" about whatever you were
asking!!!
Ittiz hell getting old!!! Eyesight goes, hearing... LOL!!!

making it to #11. It ain't THAT big.

test
If you think about how snow melts, ittiz usually along walks and stuff first. If it's out in the middle of a field, the melt would come slower.
Green, are you a woman? I thought you were a man for some reason. But then again, I'm a man, and everyone thinks I'm a woman (Allison is my last name you see,

I think terry officially has Medallion fever. Tick-tock Terry.
