It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.

dude dave......Bartons at conway....we were there last night he picked up on that red light high in the sky.....
Rock...gee I didn't mean to upset up...I have been digging (sometimes alone) at a park that is between the history center and the vo-tech, summit runs along one side
of it and John Ireland runs into the corner... I started digging there on Friday and still stop by for a quick dig when I get a chance (I'm about 30 minutes away) go
take a look a lot of the clues still fit...except for #10. Please forgive. By the way I don't know the name of the Park but, it is in the shape of a triangle somewhat
actually a lot so I assumed it was the triangle park that everyone was talking about.
well heres what this damn clue writer did!!! First he says that "but theres value as well as in the new. Well hey i figured it was at NEWELL and man others did to.
But then the first letter in every clue started to say Saint Francis because they have booyas twice a year at highland but then a k showed up and that didnt work.
Then the line of trees was woodrow but it could have also ment the streets by highland such as PINEhurst,JUNIPER, and OAK ave.
Just to throw a little doubt out there: There are still two clues left, why would they be telling us the park already? Especially when it's worth $10,000, and Conway
Park is so dug up, if it is there, why hasn't someone found it? And if it's there, it's probably not in the same place is was originally put. But call me a pessimist, I have
its could be in a braw and you might be right about the iconoclast thing. maybe its under all the ice in the ice ring but i still think its under all the snow around the ice
rink that hasnt even been touched yet!!! im going there in 30 minutes
There's a house on Conway with ALL of their Christmas decorations up still. Could that house have something to do with being an ICONOCLAST. Just a thought.
If you find a foreign object and it doesn't fit the 'white and tight as drum' will you say to yourself 'hmmmm this wasn't mentioned so i won't examine it closely......
Hi everyone. I just got home from a few houes at Conway. There are many many people digging. My prime area was all around the football sled near the hockey
rink. Did anyone see me? I'll go back after clue number 11.
RVCrew, this is my first year, but I think they usually know the park before this. And they didn't name it. There have still been people asking what clue#10 means.
Some veterans are saying the clues this year have been the toughest yet. For a long time they could have fit many parks.
thought there wereo only 11 clues this time?? anyone else hear that? i thought the same...what if someone is holding on to it......grrrrrr...or i've been
hearing that they dont even hide the darn thing til about this time......
I am SO depressed right now. I thought for sure the medallion was at Conway, but it CAN'T be there. I called the Department of Parks and Recreation and they
said that Conway is a RECREATION CENTER and NOT a park. SO where is it then?
I can almost guarantee you that they wont say conway just yet in the 11th clue just for how small it is and for how much money it is worth. The PP is getting as much
cash as they can and they are doing a pretty damn good job on it. Im guessing tonights clue will give the area where the medallion is at. Usually when it is in a big
park the 10th clue is usually really long, but since its conway i do not see it being in the paper tonight. Im guessing it will say something about the hockey rinks, but on
the other hand in clue 2 it says stay away from sledding and a popular outdoor attraction. Maybe the outdoor attraction is the NO GOLFING signs in the park.
Sethmon, how could anyone see you when we don't know what you look like? Or did you give a description before? I don't think I can get out until Thurs, by which
time it will probably be too late.
Seacool, didn't we tell you already? You must have missed it. Conway Park is behind Sun Ray shopping center. I-94 east to Ruth St. and go north. That's all I know
cuz I haven't been there yet. I'm just learning how to do this for next year.
Q of S, past posts have hashed that whole issue of parks vs. rec centers, and by some definitions, it is a park, and used to be called Conway Heights Park, so yes, it
Funny you bring that up, because I have an official St. Paul city parks/regionalparks/rec centers Map! And it says half of the park is actually a park and the other half
Hey Ya'lll - It only takes a bit of logic. The clues clearly lead to Conway. So you head out there to check it out. Does it look like a park? Does it seem like a park?
Does it taste like a park? YES YES YES. Who cares what they call it offically. Itzza Park. Think in your head what a park looks like and then picture Conway in
your head. THEY LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME!!!! COINCIDENCE??? It's a park

Yeah spent about 35 hours at Conway now, woo hoo, nothing like watching everyone else dig up the same stuff, Over, and Over, and Over. Haha.
SOMETIMES YOU PEOPLE READ TO DEEP INTO THESE WORDS, MAYBE ICONOCLAST MEANS, YOU NEED TO BE ONE ,BECAUSE YOU
HAVE TO FIGURE OUT HOW THEY HID THE MED THIS YEAR . IT MIGHT BE IN A VERY UNUSUAL WAY, SO THEREFOR YOU HAVE TO BE
THE ICONOCLAST
what is round and white and stretched quite tight.
Just to throw a little doubt out there: There are still two clues left, why would they be telling us the park already? Especially when it's worth $10,000, and Conway

a tendency to second guess.
a baseball signed by the mayor of garage logic as i said b4
COULD BE A NUMBER OF THINGS BASEBALL, SOFTBALL, TIGHTS, PANTYHASE ,BALLOON, CONDOM LOL LOL
its could be in a braw and you might be right about the iconoclast thing. maybe its under all the ice in the ice ring but i still think its under all the snow around the ice
rink that hasnt even been touched yet!!! im going there in 30 minutes
I agree with you, Pooh, they're just telling us to be one.
There's a house on Conway with ALL of their Christmas decorations up still. Could that house have something to do with being an ICONOCLAST. Just a thought.
Doesn't hurt to check all the possibilities.
I KNOW...I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING YOU SINCE FRIDAY...NOT LITERALLY FOLLOWING YOU JUST THROUGH THE COOLER SIGHT...I
THOUGHT YOU WERE ON GOOD HUNTCHES...I WAS JUST WONDERING WHAT WAS UP BECAUSE I THOUGHT YOU HAD GOOD
THOUGHTS AND THE CONWAY THING WAS EASY...I THOUGHT.
I agree with you, Pooh, they're just telling us to be one.
ALL I KNOW IS THAT THE OTHER DAY I WAS WAITING FOR THEM TO GIVE A CLUE ABOUT 3M. THEN I WAS WAITING FOR THEM TO
GIVE A CLUE ABOUT TIM CONWAY. EITHER I HAVE ESP OR THE WRITER OF THE CLUES WROTE ABOUT THINGS THAT I TOO WOULD
HAVE IT I HID IT. SOME HOW I DON'T THINK I HAVE ESP, SO THAT LEAVES THAT IT MUST BE AT CONWAY.
Does the Christmas house have a wreath on its front door
I would be so pissed right now if someone was just hanging onto it watching all of our sorry souls digging when its already been found!!
Who gives a rats ass what its hidden in????
If you find a foreign object and it doesn't fit the 'white and tight as drum' will you say to yourself 'hmmmm this wasn't mentioned so i won't examine it closely......
hmmmmm'
throw it away and I'll take it apart!!!!
(wink!)
HWood

its in conway no doubt about that, but its been so torn up!!!! i think i have an idea what you need to do though to get right next to it.
RushHarley..I don't know..I didn't look that closely..
thought there wereo only 11 clues this time?? anyone else hear that? i thought the same...what if someone is holding on to it......grrrrrr...or i've been

is everyone sure that it is at conway
To get to Conway Park: Head East from downtown about 2mi., exit on Ruth and go North (Left), the park is about 3 blocks down on the right hand side.
absolutely, positively

HI PEOPLE

Cartman?
"Conway Park" is not in any 1999 street atlas or map. There is no CONWAY PARK.
I know what it's hidden in. My brain. Who ever finds the medallion, please return the brain it's attached to to me.
Can't stand it. got get out.
Rock--what is your idea on how to get close to it
QUEENOFSNOWS IF IT WOULDNT BE THERE THE PEOPLE WORKING THERE COULD KICK THEM OFF, AND A BIG CLUE THAT IT IS
THERE IS THAT THE ICE RINK LIGHTS WERE NOT ON. THOSE LIGHTS ARE ALWAYS ON DURING THE NIGHT TIME HOURS.
COINCIDENCE? I DONT THINK SO!!!
Q of S, past posts have hashed that whole issue of parks vs. rec centers, and by some definitions, it is a park, and used to be called Conway Heights Park, so yes, it
is there.
There is no CONWAY PARK.
Does anyone know about the large red light? 3M just does not seem right.
Remember!:(click here) Newk2 2/2/99 12:06PM
Funny you bring that up, because I have an official St. Paul city parks/regionalparks/rec centers Map! And it says half of the park is actually a park and the other half
NOT!
Have you guys read Clue 10? It is definitely at Conway.
I looked under previous messages, but could not find anything. Needless to say, I did not dig deep. What is the Re-Hash bash?
