D Queen , It believe it will be located at the East side of the lake 'cus if ya read the clue is says something like only one is the proper place and if ya look at the clue "east" is capitalizied. Just something I remembered from English class hehehehehee
The bridge is south of the pavillion off of lexington & horton beind on ols sppoky looking building. somebody has a setup under the bridge, theres a table & chairs
Diggin queen - I am sorry...I meant medallion queen. Didn't see two of you.
Ares - it might not be so bad if Kids hits on me. My husband doesn't lik to hunt, so a hunting partner wouldn't be too bad. Up until now my hunting partner is my dad, he is great at the clues, but doesn't really like the digging much. He told me earlier today that I should call him right after I get the clue tonight. Then he called about 9:00 PM and told me to wait till morning. Not really the go getter medallion hunter.
Wasn't there a trolley that went thru a tunnel that is no longer there, under the James J. Hill house area? At the bottom of the steps near the Cathedral? But is it public land?
The trollies ran along West 7th and also down Summit to downtown ...passing the James J Hill mansion etc.... I know this but I'm not old enough to have hitched a ride...
that north-south street is hamline, mcmurray field is in the lower right. at top dead center is the southern end of the west picnic grounds. como av is the one that curves towards the northwest, and horton is the street that comes in from the north.
notice the clump of trees with the straight-line clearing in them almost dead center of the pic. from what i gathered talking with steve today, that's the remnants of the streetcar line. its quite elevated, and quite visible from anywhere in zone 4.
Chill out. Perhaps cynicism doesn't come accross as well via written communication. The point is that it was a long time ago. Plus please spell ignorAnt correctly if you choose to label me as such.
Brew, I might go tonight or tomorrow, it depends on tonight's clue. If it's really good, I'll be out tonight. If it's still kinda vauge, I'm gonna get some sleep, and go after I ship 2 of the 3 kids off to school. I'd be out there around 9:45
I don't want to hear clue#9 from you, Brandon.
Brandon - Are you even old enough to know someone with a cell phone?
Spry has plenty of fake clues up his sleeve. Give 'em your best, Spry.

Queen - what about the bridge? Where is it again? I didn't see it today? Must have been to busy thinking about those clues.

Jokysu, which Queen?
Ok...is it just me or this becoming the Como Park medallion hunt, not the St. Paul winter carnival medallion hunt???? Gosh, I'm sick of that park...
anyone here old right now enough to remember when streetcars roamed the streets of the city?
Kinda depends on what the clue says.
The bridge is south of the pavillion off of lexington & horton beind on ols sppoky looking building. somebody has a setup under the bridge, theres a table & chairs
I would if I had a ride. I have a lantern to dig by.
(give it up, kev. It won't work. Just cuz you know where it is....)
so whos got the clue tonight, note this is not addressed to spryguy.
Brew, I would by into the east side of the lake as well, but for some different reasons. That's my #2 choice. #1 is still West picnic area.

Yeah, and wheres Crap Face been lately?
ARES- I am not old enough but I do know that there was a trolly that use to go from st.paul to mineapolis going down como ave
MQ - Thanks for the direction. Now I know what you are talking about.
Ares,
Anyone old enough to remember that long ago probably would have forgotten by now due to senility.
Wasn't there a trolley that went thru a tunnel that is no longer there, under the James J. Hill house area? At the bottom of the steps near the Cathedral? But is it public land?
ViolentJ sdogg, You guys going out tonight

Electric Duane - Don't be so ignorent my father remembers that and he is not that old, Plus he is a very sharp man when it comes to remembering things
Brandon - Prolly not tonight but in the morning.
Annette B you can trust me
Brandon Spry you drive. I want to go and dig but no one is being nice to me.
To me the "off base" clue means that its not in the obvious spot (as if there is one!) which to me is the west picnic area
Street cars STILL run through Downtown St Paul
all right digga, have a look-see at the aerial view at http://terraserver.microsoft.com/image.asp?S=10&T=1&X=2439&Y=24901&Z=15&W=2

KK - watch who you say isn't being nice. I would have helped you, but I can't take work off tomorrow if my work isn't finished.

Did someone summon a vampire?
Yup, brand, me and Shaggy will be out.
