i'm going to try for time off too! when you go to the pp do you have to have your button & the clues with you ? I always thought you just needed to have the medallion. If I had the medallion I would probably be so excited that i would be driving crazy & get pulles over...maybe i would get a police escort to the pp
The vanished tracks can't really be human or animal tracks. If they have vanished, they won't tell you anything. Vanished railroad or trolley tracks make more sense, assuming you know where they used to be.
The best thing to do when you find it is to just casually put the puck in your pocket and walk to your car. There you can get it together mentally, stop home, (do your hair)etc. and then proceed directly to PP to claim your prize
Or here's something else obscure and probably meaningless. Over by the mini golf, between the hot ash opening and the gazebo, I believe is where they used to have the pony rides.
I think the street car tracks went under the Lex bridge. travelling towards the picnic shelter puts us right in the middle of Larry Ho field, isn't the winter village or whatever it's called there (snow sculptures, etc.)?
Yes, I'm part of the Cooler Crew. Joining isn't hard. Just posting here is a big part of it. The next best thing is to just try and meet them and talk to them while hunting, or go to the rehash bash and meet them there.
Could this clue be referring to tracks that are still there, but are just covered by the snow and thus vanished? Otherwise, how could it be vanished, and still be "in the snow"?
It can't be the shelters on the east grounds because that's where all the Winter Carnival stuff is going on. So I think its either the pavilion or the gazebo. I think some people think the opening is the waterfalls, so maybe that's why they are all by the pavilion itself.
Ace, I did see your post and wrote a reply. Basically I was wondering if that wasn't too obscure for the clue writer to expect people to get?

yes, you need clues, pin, etc. people who have found it in the past have gone home and cleaned up before going to PP.
Hey ya'll just got back from como...what a zoo..no pun intended
I dont care what anyone says this is still tuff LOL Especially when you are sick I have been sick 5 days no light at end of tunnel either LOL

Donna - are folks evenly split between west picnic and near pavillion?
I think the street car tracks went under the Lex bridge. travelling towards the picnic shelter puts us right in the middle of Larry Ho field, isn't the winter village or whatever it's called there (snow sculptures, etc.)?
right but i though the reference was to the old car in the picnic area i thought i was so cool last night when I was at the bridge i felt so smart!
AW - Scribe says they still do, we talked about it last night.
pp had a news crew down there tonight so watch for all us cooler heads on the news in the morning... they didn't hand the clue out till 11.30
Do you think they have people out there watching
AW are you part of cooler crew? If so how can I get involved would love to join
Wasn't someone saying a couple of days ago that there were old tracks by the mini golf? On the West picnic grounds?

over by the trolley and going down the hill from there
Thx, Donna
Lel - if you post here, you are part of the crew.
Mostly by pavillon as far as I could see alot of people!!!
were there a lot of people south of the pavillion? past the fountain?
Yes that is where I would say most people were around.
Could this clue be referring to tracks that are still there, but are just covered by the snow and thus vanished? Otherwise, how could it be vanished, and still be "in the snow"?
AW were you out there tonight...did ya notice all the park rangers and cops out there tonight
Not so much South kinda right dead on with pavillion.
No, I was at a party tonight. Gave up on hunting for today.
thats why i think it means the animal tracks. the painted ones on the paths
Yes but they are all over zoo and park atleast they were last summer when I went??
The painted tracks are only in the zoo though, aren't they? I really doubt its in the zoo. The Zoo people would kill them.
did you see if there were alot of people over near the houses? There's one house over there with a really cool fence with a bunch of circles in it
are you just talkin about the path that goes past the mini golf and the trolley M-QUEEN
MQ I seen ypu on here earlier I was thinking East view you said you grew up there?
the painted tracks are also on the paths around the lake at least they were i cant remember if they still are. I walk around como a lot in the summer
I didn't notice queen...i was putting all my attion to the park
the tracks go in front of the pavillon and stops shortly after on the path around the lake
That was what I was thinking do you think they could mean the Pavillion is the shelter??
the tracks are all around the lake, there isnt a line of tracks though they stop and start randomly all the way around
think the pavillon is the shelter and is the place to get hot choclate
what is the opening below?
I was there earlier and it all makes sense the wholes could mean the open spaces under pavillion too ??
It can't be the shelters on the east grounds because that's where all the Winter Carnival stuff is going on. So I think its either the pavilion or the gazebo. I think some people think the opening is the waterfalls, so maybe that's why they are all by the pavilion itself.
ok my thought is i'm going to go over by the animal shelter tomarrow and look right off 3rd base in the field below the hill
The pavillion underneath is one big whole??
