I wanted to make a comment re: the Laura Billings article. While it's always nice as a filmmaker to get press, we have discovered that we are almost always misquoted and portrayed in a way that the writer wants no matter what the truth is. Most importantly we wanted to address what she mentioned about any Minnesotans being more embarrassed than Fargo. She was way off base here (not to quote a clue) because we are rooting for the hunters and portraying it from that point of view. Jackie herself was in tears when the hunt was over because we are so drawn into this whole thing. I think Laura made some assumptions about us being from NY and what our perspective would be. As we always say, this documentary is a celebration of the hunt and the Coolerheads!!!!

Hey Fellow Coolerheads! Some of you know me, some of you don't. I'm Derick Davis, a local college student. For those of you who were frequent visitors to my site, I thank you. I am already geraing up for next years hunt. By that I mean, I will be devoting the next 10-11 months to creating an ultimate Medallion Hunt Guide. It will be titled "Medallion Hunt 2002", and it will be one of many created in the coming years. It will be published in FULL COLOR with EXTREMELY DETAILED MAPS. It will feature Past Clues & Hiding Places, Statistics for each park, Color pictures from each park, Coupons to local businesses (undetermined). It will be available in both hard copy and cd-rom version. The cd-rom version will feature everything in the hard copy, but the cd-rom will have some interactive features as well. Such as 360 degree views from the parks, and mock hunts. One thing I really want to include is bios and interviews of fellow cooler heads w/ a color picture of who they are. I would really love to hear from you if you are interested. Kids- It doesnt happen to be Lifetime does it? I go to Lifetime. I dont know any other clubs that have child care LOL. Besides that meat market ballys LOL
Kids- I go to RoseVille just cuz its all women. Nobody stares at me while Im working out LOL. Plus I dont got some big huge guy benching 600 pounds while I bench 100 LOL. Or I go out to WoodBury if its really late at night
Crazy- I'm not sure if they are hiring for front desk here at highland. Might be. we might be hiring for chil care in a bit too, although we have some applications already.
Just read in the PP that green. was the one who found the mediallion; it is so cool that a Cooler Head found it; it was so fun to read how excited she was and all she went thru to find it...it was a great artical; this has been alot of fun; my oldest son and I had time spending together while looking for it. Wee had a blast!
