No, I'm afraid that wasn't me. I was at the paper a few times, but not with a cousin and I didn't have anyone waiting for me. And I'd be surprised if your feet fit in my boots, unless you have very small feet.
Hmmm, so what will nosnowflake's name be next? nospringblossom? And actually, come to think of it, I don't have a window either.
Me2-I'm laughing outloud on that one. we do need a little excitement around here. With our burly security guards I don't think I'd get very far in my attack.
Yes, I'd rather be working at Highland Nursery. I had to bite the bullet and get a job with actual benefits-ie health insurance.
I'll be the first to admit I'm a flake. There will be a scuffle amongst those who know me to be the second.
Ah, but that is spelled Aries. Ares is the Greek god of war. I used to date an Aries. A couple of them actually, both redheads too. Aries I think is a Fire sign. Aquarius, oddly enough is an air sign. If you mix fire and water, you get steam, if you mix fire and earth, you get lava, but I think if you mix fire and air, all you get is more fire, hehe.
The Fire element of Aries brings assertive "I" energy. This is a flaming drive and the desire to do something! The Aries will is full of tension and passion; the "I" brings a need for independence. Aries coincides with spring time, when seeds germinate in an outpouring of energy and growth. This sign as has an instinctive identity, early extroversion, spontaneity, and a very direct approach. "Fire" can rage out of control. Aries' cardinal-sign assertiveness can become too willful. Then we have wild spring weather -- a storming nature and a passion for power. Spontaneity can become impulsive -- as only a sign ruled by energizing Mars (aka Ares!) can be! Balance comes by adding gentleness to independence and by tempering the Self with self-awareness.
Yes, Aquarius is in January and February. My birthday was the first day of the hunt. Do I know cass or does nosnowflake? Oh, are you saying she is our common link? Of course at this point I don't know her any better that I know you.
December 4th? I think that would make you a Sagittarius, also a fire sign, so you two should get along well!
Sagittarius is Fire energy. This is a very active, extroverted, mobile, expansive sign. The Archer is always ready for action, bursting with goals and idealism. This sign is the very personification of jovial, outward-bound, enthusiasm -- the ultimate cosmic host or hostess with the "mostess." They can be spellbinding in their philosophies! Mutable motivation brings compelling powers of attraction. Change and variety are important. Sag won't hesitate to initiate either. Without balance energy, Sagittarius can become too changeable; he or she may bend to every force or influence. Restlessness can diffuse energy, and finding a secure position in life isn't as easy as we would think. Quiet contemplation can temper the fire' and heighten the intuition. Receptivity can slow the impatient desire to move way too fast at times. What a wonderful balanced energy this is!
Here is mine, and it does fit pretty well. But I'm just getting these off Yahoo, not actually writing them.
Ruled by shocking Uranus, Aquarius very much epitomes the planet that inspires it. This sign has astonishing intellectual and communication skill. Aquarius may the sign of the rugged individualist, the mad scientist and the lone eccentric, but this visionary also represents social interaction and higher consciousness. Aquarius' title, the "Humanitarian of the Zodiac," is well earned! For a fixed sign, Aquarius has a lot of adaptability. Attribute this to the need to accommodate others. A passion for life, new things, and novel situations sends Aquarius in all directions! Without stability and a willingness to listen, however, this sign can become erratic. Aquarius can try many new things but end up mastering none. That can stifle the great success potential here. Slowing down long enough to establish a solid foundation gives Aquarius the ability to ground his or her electrical energy. Receptivity can calm rebellious tendencies, especially those that put a member of this sign at cross-purposes with his or her boss! Aquarius' future-oriented energies give all members of this sign the advantage of living as if they are well into the 25th Century!
That sounds like my son-especially the part about trying many new things and mastering none. Ever since he was a baby he would latch on to some habit, do it intensely for a week or so, and then all of a sudden, never do it again. It was things like sucking pacifiers, thumbs, rubbing his belly before he fell asleep and now its things like eating peanut butter and jelly everyday for months and now will not do the jelly-ever. I am not sure where the mastery comes in, but I's sure that will be apparent as he gets older. I think he'll master something really important though.
Apparently Aquarius is the thinker and Aries is the doer. An Aquarius isn't likely to master anything unless encouraged by someone else. That's kind of why the Tour de Parks never happened last year. It was a great idea, but when it came time to make it happen, the Aquarius in me had moved on to other great ideas. Takes someone like an Aries to gather up the ideas and make them actually happen. So I'm sure you'll be a great mom for him to have.
Yes, though never in long stretches. I went to Valley twice, but both times it was so cold we weren't there for more than half an hour and with such a big expanse of open space, we didn't know where to even begin, so we never really dug there in earnest.
Then we went to Phalen and went to the rec center and found a tree in the softball outfields surrounded by a stone wall and we dug that out and then went home again because it was too cold.
Then we went to Arlington Arkwright and dug out the basketball court for a bit. It was warm that day so I dug for a couple of hours, then went home, then went back. When I went back though I went back alone and ended up talking mostly and hardly digging at all.
Finally I endedup on the West Picnic Grounds at Como, but was on the wrong end of that. I'd say we dug there for about an hour and a half and then gave up and went home again. After I found out it was in Como my heart wasn't really into it anymore. I guess three strikes and I was out.
Jackie - If you're sloggin over the few posts that are left, I want to again thank you for the Dove soap. Very nice touch. My cube smells soooooo clean right now. You, Trent, Bud and Phil should congratulate yourselves and go out tonight and whoop it up a little. There IS more to 'our wonderful city' than us misguided treasure hunters with visions of grandeur. I suppose sleep is your #1 priority right now anyway. Oh well. Glad to hear the premier went well last night. Wish I could of got off of work to check it out. Any chance it'll be shown again somewhere?

hello everyone.
goodbye everyone.
Hi Tim. Bye Tim.
Actually I'm thinkin of "notimetogardennowthatihaveastinkingjobflake."
Perfect!
I missed the cluemaster running out the door? I would've been there if not for these tasks I'm working on. Shoot.
are you calling yourself a flake? :)
Hehe. That may be longer than what is allowed though. :) Maybe you should have gotten a job as a gardener?
Maybe you can see him on Sunday if you make it.
I am picturing you- assasinating clue master from the north windows of the SPC. lol (shoot)
I think that's one of my goals in life. That if someone were to kill me, they would refer to it as an assassination instead of a murder. :)

That's ok, I'm a bit flaky too. Are you an Aquarius too maybe?
Ironically, Ares. But, the name was already taken.heheeh

I'm so used to seeing Ares on this board I spelt it that way. Aries is fire. Ooh-since I work at St. Paul Fire and Marine. Yikes.
Since I'm so flaky-Is Aquarius in Jan.? Did you just have a birthday?
ah ha! Just maybe.... do you know cass??? from Highland Nursery?
AW --we may be connecting another link! by the way my birthday is December 4.
Here, is this you?

AW-Right on!
I don't know Cass, Me2? Sorry. We'll come up w/ something.

AW, Are you Ecolab's resident astrolgist? I am impressed.
My son's birthday was jan 22.
I would like to continue this "linking" again soon. I have to go get my daughter from school. I know "we will always have" ...the rehashbash.
But always exciting to talk with people that we have somethings in common.
Note to self (warn clue master) --Will not be bringing my assult rifle and helping you hunt down cluemaster Sunday.
Be back later tonight. Me2
Hey, that is practically on the nose. I like it. Excellent!
talk with you later. Me2

I'm too flaky.
and all alone it seems. did you go to Landmark?
Oops, sorry, had to actually do some work, hehe. But in theory you'd be flaky in a different, complementary way. :Þ
I'm tryin to work too. I'm thankful for the minimizer button for sure. Did you get to do any digging this year?
Yes, though never in long stretches. I went to Valley twice, but both times it was so cold we weren't there for more than half an hour and with such a big expanse of open space, we didn't know where to even begin, so we never really dug there in earnest.

Well, I am just about outta here. What a great way to spend my afternoon! Thanks for hangin out. We shall meet again soon-hopefully Sunday. Bye now.
Good bye and have a good weekend. i still have a bit to go before going home.
Good evening everyone. Green- Can I interview on Sunday? whats available tomorrow night?
I also need to know where exactly we're going to end up tomorrow (if you know yet).
