Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.

is the fairgrounds considered a city park or are there any city parks in the fairgrounds?
jodi i am with you it seems that they are talking about the area in the fairgrounds were all the tv and radio station booths are u can see the space needle theres the sky ride theres carnes ave (carnival hunters) and all that good stuff someone said though that it is privatly owned but i have been searching every where for something that says that i think i am going to check it out anyways
still not agreeing with the State Fair- it is in Falcon Heights! Plus, privately owned. Hmmm.... not in st. paul, and not a public park. not looking good guys
Can any of you guys put up a FAQ page, so we can just answer with the link? There are tons of new people, and tons of people who don't slog. It would be greatly appreciated.
can u honestly tell me who owns the fair????? because i have researched the thing for about 3 hrs trying to find out ughhhhhhhh and if so how come it has been hidden there twice???
not in the fairgrounds but maybe near it fair and tip could be midway stadium reference and ok ok is definite reference to call letters of radio station
just got back from mounds, i may be switching my preference. although I did a swing around phalen just for fun and those towers to the north are really visible at night, even down on the island. i was on the island earlier today and couldn't see them. at night it's a whole 'nuther story. then again, it could be anywhere for all i know <sighs>
mounds. been leaning toward phalen, or - just for something completely different, a really tiny no-chance-in-h*ll little park that happens to be close to my house, but mounds is looking better and better. and hey, it's on the eastside...convenient :D
no, i swung over there with the dog a little before 7. didn't do any digging, just ran along the path and did some noodling. gotta say, IMO that's the prettiest night-time park in the metro area, if nothing else
