They should be either at Gabe's or Galivan's or McGoverns. I would be there, but just am too worn out and not feeling up to going out. This hunt seemed to take a lot out of me.
we have 4 between the two of us-the oldest is mine, he's 15, then my husband has a boy that's 13 and a girl thats 11 and then we have a 4 yr old together.
Hey TMK. Is that your power supply cord and map book that I have in my car in a taco bag? I asked Ares and he said it wasn't his. Don't ask about the tacos, sadly they had to go.
You must be busy then, LL; I got 5 ages 24 to 12. My 24 yr old son and I went digging together all the time. He is a truck driver in St Paul so know the area well; we had a good time. I got my other kids to help dig, too. It was a great hunt!
Saw Camo Dan, Allison, Ares, Jake and Leelabel at Gabes. We were there till close to 8:30 and then they headed to Gallivan's. Inks and I were just too tired to think about going any further so came home.
Yes, LL, it helps when the kids can dig. and analaze the clues. My 13 year old was convinced the "vultures" clue meant it was in the woods and I disagreed with her, and here she was the right one. She let me know that , too!
I believe I had forgotten how tired one gets when the hunt goes this long. Kids - I'm with you. This hunt has taken it's toll...but it feels good to have gone 12.
Reg, nothing is going on between Ares and Me2's sister, contrary to popular belief. Some people think that there is something going on between Ares and Me2 themselves. It's all an act.
Hey Regman. Please go back and claim that Joe! It's killing me. That was supposed to be mine I tells ya.
I'm assuming its up front?
It was in back TMK, that's why I thought it was yours or ares. I'll ask her if I see her. She got out with a big bag full of stuff so I thought she had everything. (minus 2 rakes and a cell phone of course)
I didn't throw 'em back. I told my daughter that someone probably lost 'em and she should put them back where she found them. (She wanted to keep them as they were white fluffy and she didn't have any.) She said after we heard the medallion had been found in earmuffs that she wasn't going to hunt anymore if we made her put it back. We register a button in her name every year and she comes to the Pre-Dig Gig, but we can't get her out digging.
I was a mother first and a hunter second. Thankfully my kids are now adults so I can't make that mistake again.
The reason you probably haven't met me and Inks yet is that we tend not to go to the PP. We were only there one night this hunt. The standing around waiting for the clue freezing just doesn't appeal to us much.
SO GUY'S YOU THINK THEY WILL GIVE US SOME ELECTRIC SO I CAN BRING MY DJ EQUIPMENT SUNDAY? SO WE CAN HAVE A REALLY GOOD PARTY? WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK ABOUT THAT? BY THE WAY I'D LIKE TO PUT A PIC NEXT TO MY POST HOW DO I DO THAT?
I hope someone can call the park office tomorrow and ask for the power to be turned on. I am up beyond my neck tomorrow with work so I can't say I'll do it.
If you find a picture in a gif or jpeg file, save it to your computer, go to preferences and under 'My Picture', browse till you find the gif or jpeg file on your computer. Go to the bottom of that page and "set preferences". Go to the bottom of the next page and say "ok".
You know . . . . we didn't have a "fart's chance in a windstorm" last night. It's my understanding that those that were the first to get the actual paper, were already on their cell phones, so they had a good 15 minutes on everyone. So by the time the clue was posted last night . . . it was already too late.
But I just want to thank Downtown Dave, and everyone else who provided the clues. You are awesome!
I was just telling Mom the other night that I was grateful that we still had the opportunity to hunt . . . but would someone just find that "flipping" medallion! We needed closure.
Wassup with the leaf blower, Terry. You mean someone actually brought one?
Next year . . . . yes, that's it . . . I'll bring the 'ol flame thrower!
I'LL GET ALL MY STUFF TO READY FOR SUNDAY!!!! SO ME CAN ALL HAVE A GRRRRRREAT TIME!!!!!!!!HOPE TO MEET A LOT OF NEW PEOPLE!FOR ALL YOU PEOPLE THAT HAVE NOT MET ME YET I'M THE GUY THAT ALWAYS WORE THE SAFARI HAT AT THE PP.
Dang! I only caught the last few minutes of ER. Was on a CUB run this evening . . . . didn't get home till late. I loved that music that they played at the end. I've heard it before, but I just don't know who it's by? Does anybody else????
Anyway, I'd better cruise. I told LuLu that I would look up something on the net for her. So good night and SCD's to all!
Thanks Regman; glad it will be your first re-hash as well!
they were starting at gabes and then going to galyvans downtown after a while.
They should be either at Gabe's or Galivan's or McGoverns. I would be there, but just am too worn out and not feeling up to going out. This hunt seemed to take a lot out of me.
Bens: have you ever gone to a re-hash bash before?
we used up our sitter for last night so we are staying home tonight.
LL: how many kids do you have? ages?

Opps, My 12 year old just turned 13, I have 3 teenagers at home now!
ClueMaster, that would be Me2's. I'm assuming its up front?
I can't wait till the little one is old enought to dig, I will have him hooked by then!
I have 3 teenagers at home now!
I feel for ya queen!
I'm gonna go veg on the couch for a while, see ya all later!

Nope CM, they aren't mine. They're Me2's. The only thing I think I left in your truck was my black ski-mask type hat. Did you find that?
Oh yeah, I do have that too. I knew that was yours tho. I hope you don't mind it smelling like tacos?
Hey Terry, did it sound like those guys were planning on making it a late one at Galyvans?
Good evening!
(((((hugs)))))) to all of you wonderful hunters! Remember there's always next year. And the year after, .......
Terry, are we down, up north? Been trying to get through all day.
BTW . . . . I "had" LuLu so that I would have a hunting partner. Paul loves to hunt, but I don't think he has the passion that I do. LOLOL!
I hope someone can call the park office tomorrow and ask for the power to be turned on. I am up beyond my neck tomorrow with work so I can't say I'll do it.

The gif or jpeg file needs to be 17K or less.
Hey MJ! Thanks for the clue last night!
Between you and Mom we heard the clue twice and then got all befuddled when in the middle of those woods and couldn't make snese out of it all.
That leaf blower was so loud and obnoxious, it was hard to hear yourself think.
DOES ANYONE KNOW THE NUMBER I'LL CALL.
You know . . . . we didn't have a "fart's chance in a windstorm" last night. Now . . . I won't be so sleep deprived. :)
I don't have the number handy, but it's the St. Paul Parks Office - on Jessamine up behind the Humane Society.
Downtown Dave is definately a hero in my book!
I'LL CALL TOMORROW
You know, the guy that actually found it was the same guy of the three that had been downtown at the PP. Amazing.
Yup. Someone brought a big gas powered leaf blower. He was blowing leaves, dirt and assorted crap into everyone's faces.
Folks can just call be Terry. The V is only because plain Terry was already taken when I registered here.

Goodnight MJ! Hugs to LuLu too!
Fun Terry about the Mock hunts!
