Well, the clue does state "red herrings" and maybe today's video listing all the repeat parks the med was found in means it will be found in a park not found in yet. Are any of those parks even left?
I don't read much into the videos, they haven't helped in the past, unless you really stretch them to fit. So far I'm guessing no video or music versions of the clues this year. Either they were a fad, or the PP is still upset about the early clue website trick last year....
Usually I agree with that Kcogrn, but for some reason this year just feels different so far with the Deed is done and the 007. Though entertaining is still good if nothing else!

Arid temps this morning - howling winds this afternoon - subzero windchills tonight - sheesh I almost feel compelled to go digging in Mounds Park again. Maybe they'll get scared and give away the real location tonight to cut the hunt off short for all those sissies who can't stand the cold...
Yeah you're right, it has, although the video chose to say "last time in Indian Mounds" instead of how many times it's been hidden there like the others, just interesting a bit why it was phrased like that
Just a googling tidbit for the day. Here is the volunteer handbook from St. Paul parks projects. "History of Park Sites" only list 13 parks, and the medallion has been in at least 8 of them in recent history.
This was a great event tonight. Kudos to Allison for getting this set up. The pasta bar was fabulous! The setting was conducive to conversation and keeping the music turned down for awhile was appreciated so that conversations could occur.
The parking was also much better than fighting the mess downtown during a Wild game.
Thats what I am thinking. I am also wondering if this isn't a minor sign that it isn't in those parks? So far Como, High, BC, and Cher are the front runners in people's picks, including on the Prosp boards.
and why does 2007 keep popping up? Agent 007, 2007. Really want clue 2 right now. :coolfrown:
From a guy that threw a shoulder, back and spirit of the hunt digging HF while smarter folks worked Lillydale- remember...the pre-clue, the videos, songs and everything peripheral have nothing to do with the hunt. They are the herring, the ruse, the distraction. The clues are the only clues. My two cents.

They also played the county line pretty well in the lillydale hunt. Remember how close it was to the county line and how it didnt line up with the roads?
not sure I agree with peoples assertions that its a new clue writer last year or this year. Seems the same to me...I know a few have suggested, but it only a few as far as I know...

I don't think those are just random years, I bet they have some meaning....

2009+2003 = 2012
